Impossible for me to make that call. They are, to me, two different toys in two different classes that scratch different itches. Takara TR Kup is a fine toy, but that's all it is. Still a great addition to a Chug shelf.

How'd I miss that. I saw the question asked in several places, but never saw the answer. I thought the question was which 3p Kup was better (cause dude has a lot of 3p figures). Obvs a mainline toy isn't going stand up against a 3p entry. Guess I'll go pop into the closed room of fun to make sure I'm still getting notifications. :BANG_HEAD:

Well..I mean..from my perspective a mainline toy and an MP or 3rd party have the same chance.

Let's take Apollyon. He's got the look (he's got the look) but I'll take CW leader or TR voyager over him even though Apollyon still stands as the leader of my MP Instruments of Destruction. Both of those figures mentioned are more fun to have as figures instead of just a posable statue.

And I guess if we compare anything to the G1 counterpart the new ones will win out based on posability/functionality regardless which is picked (minline, MP, 3P).

I guess my problem is I keep looking at what I have and trying to narrow it down to who does it best. Yes, there are many MPs that tick that box, BUT which ones do I want to keep to have out and about to play with and ALSO be satisfied with overall if that's all I had.

I'm in a tough spot. I just has too much.

I went back and saw that you specifically asked between the Legends Kup and Koot. I think in the haul thread there was a need to qualify someones question. Anyways...

You and I are on different sides of the same boat. A very rocky slippery boat at that. There is only so much room to store and time to play, so which figure do "I" want. Much like accepting that sometimes the wants are better than the haves; one has to accept the regrets of losing over the regrets of keeping.

Speaking of games, how's Metroid 2: the Real Remake treating you? That game borders on "Nintendo hard" until you get the boss pattern down. I just got to area 7, but I'm going back track and see what I can get with my new toy.

I got to what I assume is the end(ish) of the game since it says I'm 99% done map/upgrades, and got to Ridley. Sorry for the spoiler, but to Metroid noobs: you ALWAYS fight Ridley

He is HARD!! I fought him half a dozen times and died, learning a bit more each time, but put it down and promptly forgot about it. It's fantastic, I just need to get back into it.

Word, Ridley is always lurking. Besides I played the OG on gameboy a lifetime ago (27 years). Isn't Ridley a she or am I thinking of Ripley from Alien? Anyways, I don't remember Ridley being in the original.

It's a great game, I'll be sad when it's over. I can feel the end getting near as the world's are getting more and more streamlined. Games seem to want to rush you towards the end.

Holy **** **** Backdraft is teh awesome! Big, heavy, detailed and crazy posable. Got to make time to pull out the real camera as my cell phone doesn't do him justice. I need to pit him on a scale because I think he weighs more than OP :shock:

So, MP Bee, does anyone else hate his spare tire or is it just me? It will not stay pegged in. Am I doing some wrong? As soon as I dig my closet out it's going in the box with exosuit boy. You know what, I've never removed that thing :oops:

How silly does G2 Sideswipe look in a neutral pose?

Backdraft rules. I'm on my second one. See, I bought him, back before MP Inferno came out, and I loved him. Big, heavy, articulated, detailed, and gorgeous. Then Inferno arrived, and everybody just kept raving and raving about how good he was. So, I sold Backdraft and bought Inferno.

Inferno is a great figure, he really is. He lacks a bit on detail, and his proportions are a bit too cartoonist for my tastes, but it's a good figure. In fact, if Backdraft didn't exist, if be perfectly happy with Inferno.

But Backdraft does exist. Inferno was sold, and Backdraft re-aquired.

I also enjoyed your Twin Twist and Misfire photos, I didn't mention it earlier!! I agree that the best gerwalk is Twin Twist, and if I ever end up with him that's the pose he'll most likely be in for bot mode :lol:
