Also love the derpy GoBot head. The derp might have been the best part about GoBots, but it took over 30 years for me to come to that.

I look back on the Gobots fondly but even as a kid I knew they were a little derpy (or how ever 80s kid brain me would have thought that). His head is spot on for Road Ranger. Of the little Gobots he was my fav and I was bummed when I couldn't find him the other day.

I'm not a chrome guy but love it here. The muffle bits are a lot of fun and look cool as a weapon or arm accessory.

He's a fun figure and a cool interpretation of RR. BBTS has him for $35 and I'd say he's well worth that. Just needs a little shoulder floor polishing.

I also upgraded his chest emblem with the new duller ones from Repro. I like these a lot better. The red is darker and they almost look like factory tampos. I moved the shinier one to his shoulder, I dig it.

Well if you're gonna dip into Gobots, I suggest the real deal vintage feel. There is just something very charming about how derpy they are. Scooter was one of my favs along with Road Ranger. Eagle-1 isn't a bad place to start. They there are the Super Gobots, Spacey is cool as are the ones with car cab heads!



Stax; Optimus Prime's inbred half cousin. Loved that guy and he came with a trailer to haul the regular sized Gobots.

Repro to the Rescue of Repro?

I mostly order emblems from Reprolabels mostly for 3P/KO figures, but sometimes I apply them to official figures that are lacking. I have some shiny silver foil backed stickers that I've used, but never really felt they worked on most of my figures. The silver is just too shiny and I've recently noticed that the red of the Autobot badges is not deep enough.

I got some free fraction labels from toyhax. I did have to complain because they waited a month to ship my order and didn't send me any freebies. So they sent me 3 sheets of these.



They are printed on clear slick plastic and the silver looks like the dull silver paint used on figures. They are very thin, almost match factory paint exactly and look like tampos when applied. You can see the old shiny backed sticker on my mouse; waste not want not.

Here is RTS Jazz with the old Repro.



It has always just looked off to me. They also have a bit of a texture to them.

Here is the new stickers they sent me.



The outlines are also cut much much better on these as well. The cut is one of my biggest complaints with Repro. I can either center the sticker and the emblem is off or I can center the emblem and the sticker will be off.

I've been slowly replacing the stickers I don't like and I've been very happy with the results. The last pics of Ironwill also have the new sticker on his chest and the old one on his shoulder.

That's part of my to-do list for the weekend, try out some new labels!! That new one looks properly centered in the cut out, which is hella nice Drives me nuts when they are slightly off!!

For no real reason other than he was the bot I brought to work. I do fiddle with the wings a bit in bot mode for an alternative look or two.
















I really do love this mold and the way it poses standing, chest out head up towards the sky. Very majestic. I also like how expressive the wings can be, love plane bots that can do that. I have the Takara Armada Starscream flavor as well and like a dummy left it at home

Majestic indeed!! I may need to find that guy someday on the eBay. I like it much better than my TFCC Thrust, but I like this version the most. Which also may be why you brought yours to work in the first place.

Those head swaps are awesome and I'm totally jealous of TFCC Thrust. I should have got one when the getting was good, but I didn't know about the head swap option while the store was clearing them out. I'd slap FoC UM's head on there in a heart beat!

Golly! They all have their charm. You already know how I feel about Betty White, so I'd say she's my favorite. But Ma is hilarious, and Bee Arthur is an old fave too.
