So who else is disappointed but not surprised the MMX collections will be split into two just like the MMLC?

I was foolishly hoping that they'd combine the X games in one, like the MM collections from 2 generations ago.

I've seen the MMLC1&2 discounted here and there so hopefully I can pick up the X collections on the cheap for the Switch at some point.

I just deleted the never played (on the Vita) PSOne versions of MM8, X4 & 5 and MML from my Vita a few days ago. Got plenty of room, just wanted less clutter. Actually trying to find a good game to play on my Vita that I haven't played yet (mostly sifting though my PS+ collection). Still can't motivate to play Persona 4 though. I just can't seem to get into that one. Probably best to stick to my backlog plan and just walk away.

I did get a little into Uncanny Valley on the Vita, it seems interesting.

I made a trip down to the Temple Я Doomed Toys and found this guy at an appropriate voyager price of just over $25.

I don't normally go for movie stuff, but I've heard an awful lot of good about the TLK Nitro mold and TC is my boy so I decided to give this guy a chance. I think it's the movie toy faces that bother me the most. Even though Cobotron described his head as a swiveled bug eyed raisin (which it totally looks like) I kinda dig it. There is just enough color variation to make it look like a face (albeit an alien bug face) and the metallic red paint used on the eyes is nice.

Of course the first thing I was asked after picking it up was "which TR head are you going put on it?" Fair enough question. So let's see...

The first suggestion was Apeface.

Nah, not quite the right look and the color bugs me. He would make a good Soundwave though :-?

Hmmmmm, what else we got lying around.

Well, Flywheels looks pretty good, but would need a paint job. Horri-Bull, nope. Fangry, Primus no! Squeezeplay's color is way off, but has a nice pointy evil seeker-ish face... foreshadowing

Let's see if the Autobot headmasters can help us out.

Not quite, but I've never felt like Shuffler looked very Autoboty. Dig his kitty cat whiskers ;)^

Siren looks pretty good actually, with them red aviators and splash of blue, but needs some matching greys. Might as well get the obligatory fan fave head swaps out of the way.

First up everybody's favorite grumpy gills followed by the "looks good on every body" Grimlock.

You know, if Brawn had a full head after market add-on, he'd work great. And dammit if Grimlock doesn't look dope AF :-x

Tempting as it is, I'm looking for a good match to keep this bot as Thundercracker.

How about a few deluxe head borrows.

I was surprised about how poorly Triggerhappy worked. Quake on the other hands looks almost perfect on that body. The color is just a bit off, but I like it. Well too bad they got bodies to get back to.

While posing and playing with TC I had a realization. It'ts mirrored, but one arm is full on Megatron with the other being even more Overlord.

Nope, doesn't work. Maybe with the Nitro deco.

This is the one. In the pictures the blue of his head looks lighter than it does to the eye. In hand it's a perfect match. He has such a deliciously evil look accentuated by those wicked lines on his face (that I do wish was silver) and the spiky pointy bits fit in with the movie-verse aesthetic. Mo pics, less talk.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, you're a seeker man! Have some self respect and unfold them wings!

That's more like it. ALT-MODE!

Oh look, booster butts.

I can't help but feel that his alt-mode needs some Cobra fraction symbols.

Just sayin...

And why in the hell did Tak/Has (who even made this thing, it has both brands on the box?!?!?!) not paint those grey bits of the wing that fold up? dafuq?

It is quite crazy and I pulled a Homer and ran away. :lol:

Selecting who is on the sale list IS the toughest part. I've tried to knock it down to bots that haven't received any attention, but then I give them attention taking the pictures and things. Or I find faults with the item and don't want to sell it as is (loose joints or some such, usually right outta the packaging) until I fix it, and then I want to keep it!

I kind of touched on it above, but having the regrets for items really annoys me. You've bought stuff from me, the only way I can usually find the same quality of what I've sold is by buying it new, again. That gets old. So I've sold off what I had in to something, then re-buy at a higher price (I have deals you know). :lol:

This time around it's been a little easier as I don't USUALLY take the pictures before I sell, I would just make a list knowing what I have and THEN take pictures to confirm the buyer wants it. Then I have regrets for selling. If anything, it's making me fully appreciate the figures for what they are before I part ways with them and then looking for them again.
