You can if you want to, I never did get a final word from Va'al if he wanted to keep this as a feature or not.

I spent about 4 hours taking pics and I wanted to put them somewhere. I had a theme for what I thought was August, but I just confirmed it will be better timed in September. Now what do I do about next month.... :-?

Well anyways, I'm off to find some decent lighting to take some pics of Blurr and a surprise little buddy I found in a random place.

I picked up Blurr last week and I finally got a round to opening him. Dude is awesome. I didn't think I would like the parts-form-y bit, but it makes a great shield, a fun little skiff for the head guy and can actually just be left on as the backpack if you don't wanna parts-form. Also WRIST SWIVELS!!!! Tri-wining? :-?

And the usual warning, pic heavy post, expect your browser to just give up and die

Yeah, I found the bread gargoyle just chilling at a Rite-Aid. Ugly lil puke. I'll place him somewhere high when I get home to just lord over the rest of the bots.

Frightening, just frightening. Good thing Blurr is around.

Now back to the Blurr show. Yeah, I really like this guy. Great posability, fun accessories and his transformation his a real nice sweet spot of intuitive with just enough challenge. He also sports just a tad bit of combiner wars leg fold up, which is fine because of how well it works. While playing and posing Blurr I got a bit of a Gundam vibe. Maybe the pointy angles, maybe the shield; I don't know, but I like it.

Mega Buster mode? Boom, that's probably why I like this guy. He reminds me of Mega Man!

Duck beak mode?

Brawler mode. Blurr has hand to hand combat blades built right in!

And of course my favorite mode of any figure, stoic mode [-(

One last parting thought... I'm totally putting an Autobot insignia riiiight....

...here when I get home! :-P

Ya know, that lil spot that calls you to put a sticker there is TOTALLY what it's for. Takara put one there, and the Asia exclusive sticker sheets gives you one to put there. Kinda of a let down in the deco department to be honest. >:oP

You are killing it in the backwoods bayou old stock treasure find department. Seriously. I have dreams of finding old inventory of toys I thought were long gone from store shelves, and I always dream I've found them in old small town general stores, or lone desert gas stations. I once dreamed that I found all the G1 Dinobots in a small town drug store.

Yes, I love the little TM guys. I'll definitely be picking up the stand alone heads. I just want to link all the bases together and drive-in bayou jamboree throw down.

@cram, I'd recommend getting at least on TR figure. They are deliciously blocky. Arcee may stand out with all her curvaceous-ness, but then again, that may work out great.

I'll have to set the two up together when I get home and see how they look.

Well, I have CW Ultra Magnus, Thrilling 30 Springer, Generations Kup, Classics and RTS Rodimus, plan on getting TR Wheelie, so I need TR Blurr and Generations/Takara Legends Arcee. Then, when I get TR Galvatron I can have him with CW Cyclonus, Generations and RTS Cyclonus, and pick up TR Scourge and have him with Generations Scourge and I'll actually have all the new bots from TF:TM!!

Wait no. Minus Wreck-Gar. Dang it.

Played with MP WJ last night and Gen WJ this morning. Just some quick thoughts:

When I opened MP WJ and pulled him out of the box just in alt mode I was already impressed. The plastic is dense and hard, the angles are sharp and well defined and the paint apps are just 100% flawless. I just marveled at the alt mode for about 15 minutes. I did have to pull out the instructions to get me started but the transformation is pretty intuitive for how complex it is. Otherwise mode is absolutely amazing. The head sculpt, them spot on feet, the translucent wing-tennas. Of the few MP I own this was the first one that truly felt like a masterpiece. It really feels like a $60 toy and is a marvel of engineering. I put him back into alt mode before going to sleep and will see if I can remember how to get him back to bot mode later.

Gen WJ - I really like the figure. Rarely can you comepare a standard deluxe to an MP and you shouldn't, so I won't. I will compare the Gen figure to his contemporaries though. I like the mold better than the Sideswipe/Sunstreaker mold and probably quite a few other deluxes.

Alt mode is is an awesome looking sports car that really Seens like an update to the G1 character. Transformation is fun and I blew though it with little problems. I like the weapon mount options in bot mode. Again they nailed the feet and he has ankle tilts. Articulation is great, double jointed elbows and wrist swivels.

One of the biggest complaints is hat he is short and squaty. I don't see the problem here. I extended his legs as far as they would go and I think he looks the part. Which is a short beefy mechanic. He looks cool and poses well.

@Joe: I'm a big fan of Wheeljack and the whole mad scientist thing. I'd highly recommend either mold and especially the MP. If you need a deluxe WJ, the Gen fig fits the bill and is a fun. It can be nabbed pretty easily used for around $15.

I'll be rounding up all my WJ figs for a pose off later this weekend.
