That price would have me buying them allNemesis Primal wrote:Arctorro: Feel you. I never did get the first Rattrap figure, and I wish I had. And I didn't get a Tarantulas until the 10th Anniversary line rolled around. That said, what would you consider a reasonable price? I seem to recall the 10th anniversary line selling for about fifteen bucks for a boxed Deluxe with a packed-in DVD and a Transmutate build-a-figure part. Given the recent price increase, I can see the extras being dropped, but that'd still leave us with a Deluxe-sized Transformer with an MSRP of fifteen bucks. Which is where the new deluxes are. Seems reasonable to me. Would that work for you?

Arctorro wrote:What I'm worried about is that they would be a TRU exclusive and those @#!*%@!!! would bump the prices up. Main reason I only got four G1 reissues was because TRU were price gouging where I live (don't know about prices for anywhere else).
I never applied the stickers because I was worried about them peeling, and the missiles did suckNemesis Primal wrote:Oh, they were expensive as hell Stateside too. And the stickers peeled. And they had to neuter the missile launchers because of toy safety laws.
I did get my TM Rattrap because thanks to that line, but for the life of me I can't remember how much I paid or where I got him from. Was so ecstatic about finally getting him everything else was/still is a blurNemesis Primal wrote:None of these problems cropped up in the Beast Wars 10th Anniversary line. No stickers, reasonable prices, non-exclusive, and everything was left in working order. I'm guessing that third one had something to do with when the laws were changed relative to when the molds were made, but my point remains.

Best bet would be a repaint line where they'll sell old toys but with better paintjobs. A little Beast Wars, some Unicron Trilogy, some RiD, some CHUG. Many size classes should be as well.
I got recently RiD Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus. They are combined into Omega Prime. I wouldnt mind a better paint job for them.

It'd also be nice if it didn't have some of the other issues that were present with the initial release of the mold... such as the reversed electronics and the dreaded rubber tire splitting issue. Hell, it'd be great if they did new voice clips with the actual RiD dub actors.

I think Beast Era and Armada ones would be great.
(Maybe Energon and Cybertron too.)

Cybertron Menasor, for instance. I always wanted one, but somehow eBay went nuts.
