Haven't tried to build him yet though. Cleaned the 3, cut the grass, went to the water park yesterday, awesome weekend all around.

Also, I want to get MT Cupola (not CUP-ola). He looks baller.

Took a few snaps of a new edition...he is not official (gasp!). I found online for 30 bucks so I said what the hay, I would love the official but can not spend the inflated price for him. I could get him for the same price as Wheeljack then I am all for it.

But for the first and probably only KO I will buy, he is not bad, he is super tight. The paint is a bit sloppy in spots on the alt mode but he is good.

Boy, at first glance, I had no idea he was KO. He doesn't look different at all.

Love the "man in the mirror" shots.

Well I will take your word for it ;o) I have no experience with KOs, and I don't want to have any more if I can help it. I still want to get an official version of this guy but he'll work for now. I think if you had them both in hand you would see some of the non-crip paint applications.

The man in the mirror pics were something I was thinking of as soon as I got him...

RocketPunchArmy on YouTube has a lot of KO reviews, mainly to point out the differences between the figures. Most of them are so close it's scary. The biggest differences seem to be the art on the box (since it's a scanned and reprinted copy), although I think some of them now say "TakasaTony" on the box instead of "TakaraTomy".

Ha! That's the review I watched before I decided to get this guy! The box does say that, he also has Tony molded on to his calf, instead of Tomy.

Thanks Cobs! Takasa Tony old west outlaw; HI-larious!. Yes, we should from now on call him Tony but we have to say with an NY or South Philly Italian accent or maybe an Andrew Dice Clay accent especially with the whole cigarette thing...

I have been staring out the front windows with the dogs all morning and FINALLY my PoL came! YAAAAY!




In case anyone is wondering, I have decided to jump ship with Gigapower and go with FT for my dinobot needs...I still love Guttur he is a great figure...just not getting the warm and fuzzies from their slow communication and lack of next figure coupled with lack of chrome version Guttur which was supposed to be released months ago...and don't want to be left in a lurch...


Pics to follow...although I think I will take some time and spread these guys out for a few weeks or so

D, is FT responsible for Scoria? That figure is beautiful. As I'm sure their other Dinotrons are.

You couldn't be more right about old Tony being an East Coaster, with the smoking and all. Although cowboys are notorious smokers, and Marlboro is synonymous with cowboys. and Schneiders who roll their smokes in their sleeves.

Donny's haul has inspired me. I'm off to my "internship" in hopes of it becoming a job so I can afford monster hauls like that. Thanks D.

It's been really hard not to ship this one for quite a while LOL! It's been months! Of course not mentioning any of it all the while was killer too... You can totally come over and play with them when ever you want!

You're invited as well anytime, just give the dogs peanut butter or make eye contact when you come in and you'll be golden LOL!

The upgrade kit aesthetically is great! The hands are great tight, a lil skeletal but I am ok with that because they look like HANDS. The feet look great aesthetically also, but the balljoint for the ankle tilts needs to be a bit tighter at least on mine, Superion's weight will totally move the tilts in what ever direction his weight is pushing...I will try some floor polish. So my recommendation, if you want him to stand on the shelf if a normal pose great, and then only use the kit for getting dynamic poses for pics and such it's probably good. Holding a dynamic pose on the shelf seems a little iffy with the feet. Am I happy with them, about 75%.

Cobs...Scoria is FT and he is really a great figure. Only issue I have a small paint flub on the crotch area, which I can fix.

I have not messed with anyone else in the POL, just the combiner upgrade and Scoria. The other guys have to last me until after TFCon Charlotte.

TOH-NEE! is Def an east coaster! But yes the Marlboor (haha!) man was a cowboy as well...

Internship - Long story short. I made a friend when I first moved here 3 years ago who owns and operates a film and motion graphics studio. I have periodically done freelance illustration for him. He has encouraged me to start coming in so he and his crew can teach me how to animate in After Effects (Adobe software). All in an effort to employ me further. It really couldn't be a sweeter deal.

You all are welcome to come to the great plains to play anytime too.

Yeah it's really kewl that FT is doing the G2 and diaclone versions of their Iron Dibots. Didn't want to mention it before especially since I know how much you live Diaclone (didn't want to be the voice of temptation). But that is a glorious figure in diaclone blue is it not?

She's beautiful! My labs are the non-hunting spoiled variety as well, what a coincidence! All though I have taught them to retrieve and release but they'll only ever being doing that with toys...well 'cept if that dumb bunny refuses to stop living in our yard Chapin (the choco lab) had her chompers on that bunny this morning, thankfully it got away...but seriously how many weeks of this before the rabbit gets the point?

A cat that's a diva, get out! LOL. I have only owned one cat in my life and me and her were simply not friends...she was my partners cat.
