I think this would put us pretty close to the theater as well, relatively speaking. Granted you know this particular area better than me since this is your area. This area does gives us a lot of food options. Other suggestions?

That's actually a really good idea. Should be easy to walk in with a dozen or so of us and it's just a 3 mile cruise up Dawson/Capital from the theater. I'm also trying to cut back hard on beer and they don't have any, so that's a good thing!

Is this really the location?

Best bet for parking downtown is Alexander Square on S. Wilmington St. I don't remember if it's a paylot or not. Either way, expect to pay for parking downtown on a weekend and be happy if the opposite holds true.
Basically, from the dinner spot, we'll -
1. Turn right onto Capital
2. Stay there into downtown
3. Turn left onto Hargett
4. Turn left onto S. Wilmington
5. Parking deck is on the left
6. Go back to Hargett on foot and walk two blocks east, you'll be at Marbles

They were great around here, but then Skywarp started shelfwarming so they haven't restocked in months
