That's all I've really seen lately. But not willing to pay that much for them.

Found Gold Armor Grimlock at the TTC Target around 9:30 pm. Had to get employee to pull him from the back, as there was nothing on the pegs, and a vague "something" in the backroom for the Warriors class DCPI according to the price scanner. He brought back the whole case and put everthing on the pegs. I got both Grimmies, left the OP, Drift, Jazz, Sideswipe, and two Night Ops BBs (nothing new or special enough about NOBB to make me want him, just like the CotT BBs at TRU, in comparison to TakaraTomy's BB Supreme Mode, which looks to have some remolding, a good-looking color scheme, and a new weapon to boot, meaning I'm getting that BB).

Just wish Hasbro had given this Grimlock some weapon, like maybe a red version of BB's sword. Right now he's wielding the axe abandoned by my Off-road, who got sent on a "wild ride" from Menasor by the guy he tried to replace until the online world made him available for purchase, Brake-neck.

Also this past Friday, I stopped by that same TTC Target and found and bought two more CW Legend Vipers to increase the ranks of my Cobracon airforce.

TJ Maxx off Falls of Neuse (near Raleighwood, Red Hot & Blue, etc) has a good bit of the previously 'canceled' Kreo stuff. 4 RiD Bumblebee sets, one RiD Sideswipe set, had one RiD Strongarm set (bought it, only thing there I didn't have via importing a couple months back), and also had 2 each of Battle Changers OP vs Megatron, Shockwave, Grimlock, and one Battle Changer Hound. Everything except the Bumblebee sets (which are $10) was $8.

Bought 1 MP Starscream at Raleigh Toys r Us, left one as well. Important disclaimer: I got mine off a restock/phone hold/employee holding stuff for buddies cart in the main aisle away from the TF aisle. Don't know if that one left will ever reach the shelf. If you're out looking for this guy, don't believe the website stock status. Probably either a lag on it, or some buffer if the on hand is below a certain quantity to avoid mishaps (back in my days at Sears if our in store inventory showed 1 on hand, it wouldn't show as in stock for pickup online in case that 1 was a display model, unsaleable return marked incorrectly, or in someone's hand about to be bought. Didn't fix every problem but it was at least partially smart to do.)

Nice, glad you got it! Makes me feel better too, I tried like heck to make sure the cart I got it off of wasn't a person's, and it appears it was indeed not so that's good.

Spent a lot of my TFcon dealer room budget at the Inside Pitch show at the NC State Fairgrounds this weekend. Oh well, would have just gotten a lot of that stuff there anyhow!

Just figured I'd bring that up in case anyone misses out on these shows. They happen 3-4 times a year, and are often not super great for TFs, but this past weekend's was a home run. Picked up several MP figures, a Beast Wars Microverse Orca dude, 6 different Superlink Campaign Energon Weapons for cheap, and almost but didn't quite pull the trigger on a gorgeous and complete G1 Sunstreaker to replace my current beat up one. Lots of Star Wars too, but given the movie hype that was expected.

I was just at the Triangle Town Center Target & TRU this evening. There was nothing of interest at Target and the MP Starscreams were gone from TRU. About 6 Devastators were on the shelf at TRU if anyone is looking for one.

Went around Triangle Town Center area during lunch break. TRU still doesn't have that darn Warrior Megatronus (if they even ever have!), but they do have four Devastators now if anyone's still looking for that. Nothing else really notable.

Target had some of CW Deluxe Waves 3 and 4, not a full set of either. Also have the latest RiD One-Steps if you're into those, mine got delivered by Amazon today so of course now they're at the store.

Walmart had a Deployer Drift and one Leader Thundercracker, really nothing else of note. Still lots of AOE Voyagers there from when someone returned a whole case of em, so looks like the next Voyagers at that store will probably be arriving when Titan Wars hits :lol:

I haven't seen much around worth note lately, but a lot of the new product is just now hitting distributors so I'm guessing it'll be a few weeks before we see the next round of CW/RiD stuff. About the only new thing lately is the Chomp and Stomp Grimlock (Green RiD one) showing up at the Raleigh TTC TRU at last.

There are several of the Combiner Wars Legends figures on Amazon for $4-$6, some with free prime shipping.

I just noticed them while finishing up some last minute shopping, so I'm not sure how long the prices will last.

Went to Wake Forest Target over lunch break. One each of Vortex, Brawl, Swindle there (I've got my set so left 'em). Also one Leader Ultra Magnus, who I know isn't super new but I think this is the first one I've personally seen at retail around here, or at least one of the first few.

Went to a couple regular spots during lunch hour.

Raleigh TTC TRU: Two Hot Spots if you still need it, also had the RiD Mini-con Battle Packs. I got Prime and left Sideswipe as I'd gotten the last one at Cary TRU yesterday of him. Also left one each of the new RiD 3-Steps, Blizzard Drift and Thunderhoof. MP Bluestreak stock is making a comeback for some reason, and is now out at $49.99 instead of the $59.99 it was over the summer.

TTC Target: Not a lot going on. Not even picked over really, kind of crazy that the place with more expensive TFs across the parking lot seems to sell a ton more of them!

Cary TRU: This was yesterday. Also some MP Bluestreaks, not much else noteworthy.

Cary Hot Topic: Bought their case of Loyal Subjects exclusives so I could be assured the basic set of 6. Ended up with one of the chase figs too, so only 5 extras to offload. I could be an a-hole and reglue the boxes and return them but that's too far a drive to bother :lol:

Got 1 each of CW Deluxe Hound, Smokescreen, Trailbreaker, and Wheeljack at Triangle Town TRU, as well as 1 each of Mini-con Battle Pack Bumblebee and Grimlock packs. 1 each of all of those things remains.

No sign of the latest Voyagers (Sky Lynx, Onslaught, etc.)

Plenty of the new Rescue Bots product.

They had a couple of the Legacy Thunder Megazord set if you're into that.

Finally, they had the latest Star Wars Black 6" stuff like Han, Jango Fett, Flame Troopers, Trooper Finn, etc. Plenty of each.

No one has posted a local sighting here besides myself in over four months.

It's not hard to look at TFW and see that the Raleigh area has very little in the way of sightings reported there. Allspark? Even less than here.

I don't want a Facebook account. I had one for almost a decade and deleted it, I just don't like that platform. That said, if there's some group where everyone's communicating, I'll acquire and/or dig out a shill account to go view and contribute.
