Stopped by my local Target in Wilmington. Was greeted by a nice surprise; Generations Dreadwing and a pair of Waspinators! I picked up Dreadwing and one of the Waspinators, the other might still be there right now. Also, there were several sets of Construct-Bots Predaking too. Some Abominuses, several of the Predacons Rising junk, and several of the Generations Legends Megatron + Chopshop sets.

Also to note, there's a ten-percent off purchase coupon they're giving out at the doors too, so I was able to knock off a couple bucks off the two. :grin:

The Wal-Mart on Wendover Ave in Greensboro, NC finally have Generations Wave 3 in stock(Skids, Goldfire, Dreadwing, and Waspinator) Looks like a fresh 2 cases put out today.

Cary Target - Nothing exciting to report. If you're into Power Rangers it looks like they have a new Megazord there, it was on sale for $25.

Cary TRU - Actually organized, but picked over. Have plenty of the latest Scout Constructbots if that's your thing (Cliffjumper, Silverbolt, Breakdown, and Dead End).

ScottyP: it was good to see you and the fellas last Saturday. Hopefully we can do it again soon.

I haven't seen much at retail lately. My local Walmart (in Roxboro) has been completely devoid of any deluxes since mid-October, and that is not an exaggeration. Luckily I have the latest wave so I'm good until the next ones start to pour out.

Also, not a retail sighting, but I did receive my dark energon Optimus and Starscream yesterday from BBTS. They are not new mold-wise, but I am loving their looks and the translucent plastic. Very cool figures.

This post Christmas drought is going to be rough. At every Walmart I've been to the good stuff like Transformers and TMNT are gone. But the aisles are stuffed with those giant Darth Vaders, Mars bots or whatever they're called, and dumb gimmicky Superman and Marvel toys. It'll probably be Easter before we see anything new.

I've also not seen evidence of anything "new" on shelves. I'm guessing around Feb. 1st we'll see some new stuff - next Gen. Deluxe wave with Scoop and co, next Gen. Legends wave with Swerve and Cosmos, the dumbed-down BH Deluxes and the last waves of Commanders/Legions for BH, maybe the Platinum Editions at TRU, etc. Until then, enjoy the clearance "sales"

I was gone for a couple weeks. Came back, checked out Triangle Town Target, Triangle Town TRU, and North Hills Target, and it's basically the same stuff as before but barely more picked over. Oh, the Targets here seem to finally be getting actual stock of Cryo Predaking. First I'd seen that since picking one up months ago.

Anyway, I was indeed able to score an armada starscream on Friday. My good friend Rob found one at the Southpoint Target in Durham. According to another report, the remaining new idw deluxes were gone within an hour of his findings.

A little late on this one. North Hills Target had 2 each of Armada Starscream, 2 each of Skywarp, and one Minicon team left about 24 hours ago. YMMV as quick as these have been moving, but at any rate, they were there.

Just saw 2 at the Cary TRU. $130 each.

Same store also had plenty of the newest wave of Generations (Scoop, et. al.) and a pile of YotH Starscreams. Man, I remember Supreme Starscream shelfwarming for months back in 06 at $50, best of luck to them moving those at $110.

Also makes a pretty decent stand-in for the Hasbro release of MP10. They've yet to appear in Wilmington, though. :-(
