Apparently somebody somewhere loves Thundercracker for some reason.
As for the retooled legends? It'd be nice, but I don't think it'll happen, that was probably just a standard blurb because the new molds work that way.

What do you mean someone loves Thundercracker for some reason? He's a very interesting character, much more so than Skywarp. Basically like Sabrblade said, he's like the Dinobot of G1. A Decepticon with honor and a moral center. He's also kinda like Drift but didn't choose to join the autobots.

So true, show some love!
Well, it's a good thing that the Generations line has become very much linked to the IDW comics as of late.Nemesis Primal wrote:Fine, fine, though I'm pretty sure IDW continuity is the only one where any of this really comes across.

Caelus wrote:My wife pointed out something interesting about the prehistoric Predacons. I said that everyone was complaining because transforming for them mostly consisted of them just standing up-right. She essentially said, 'So? That's what our ancestors did.'

It is if you're Thundercracker. Less so if you're someone like Seapray.

Well, it's not like he's the only one not getting a new toy. There are tons of G1 (and non-G1) characters out there who aren't coming down the pipeline, so Seaspray's not much of a notable absence.Nemesis Primal wrote:Sabrblade wrote:I don't follow.Nemesis Primal wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Well, it's a good thing that the Generations line has become very much linked to the IDW comics as of late.Nemesis Primal wrote:Fine, fine, though I'm pretty sure IDW continuity is the only one where any of this really comes across.

Seaspray's not getting a new toy any time soon because IDW isn't making use of him.

And we did already get that Voyager Sea Spray toy in 2010 that many like to use for their Classics/Generations Seaspray.

ZeroWolf wrote:Maybe they want to save omega prime for something better down the line like if they decide to make a prime that combines with an ultra Magnus
As for the stock photos maybe they're just using them while they put the finishing touches on primes limbs
Defensor and Devastator were recently confirmed to be in the Combiner Wars comic storyline, though many are doubting if Devastator would be getting a toy or if a toy could be feasibly pulled off, what with Scrapper being dead and Prowl now being the head.william-james88 wrote:Hey guys and gals, just wondering about next year's generations figures. Hasbro confirmed 16 deluxes right? And we have seen 8 of them so far which will make up Superion and Menasor. Do we assume the other 8 will also be combiners?
If the answer is yes, then I wonder who it would be and since I don't read the current comics, I wonder: who are the hotter combiners right now? I was always partial to Predaking and Devastator and would love to have upgraded versions of those, but they are both decepticons so at my luckiest only one of these would be part of the Combiner Wars.

Does the fact that Devastator is made up of 6 and not 5 transformers weaken the chance as well?

From what we've seen, it looks like combiners are made of six figures: Voyager torso, four Deluxe limbs, one Legends er.. part/chest/thing.
So maybe there's a cheat around it..?
