Here's one looking at it how many scorponok figures have we had in past compare all of them to only generation one figure that deserves remade typticon it's fair by numbers perspective.,
I may have well watched this video on mute can't understand single word anyone is saying
2014 was the only year without its own Titan, as that was because Hasbro was then still needing to see how successful Metroplex would be before they could proceed with making more than one Titan, and then they started working on their second Titan, with their needing time to work on it requiring it to come out during 2015, which resulted in Devastator being the 2015 Titan. And now Fort Max is the 2016 Titan, and with Trypticon winning the poll to be the 2017 Titan.Ultra Markus wrote:trypticon could have been release during combiner wars because metroplex was back in 2013 so we have a 3 year gap between metroplex and fortmax and now we get trypticon a year later!
Except that two years ago was around the time when the brand team changed from Aaron Archer's team to John Warden's team. The team from back then likely had no involvement in the fan poll that was cooked up by the current team.Ultra Markus wrote:i know trypticon was a fan choice presented to us a short time ago but they could have started the poll 2 years ago

Why would they? Sixshot was an important character in The Headmasters cartoon, whose story ended on a note of his beginning a new starting point in his life. He's practically begging to have the next step in his life's story told, and Takara' Legends line would be the perfect opportunity for them to do just that.RAR wrote:I wonder if Takara will skip Sixshot and go straight to Six Knight instead ?

Agreed. I would love this too, but I think they are going to keep him with a traditional base mode in this case. Would be nice if there was a way to fan-mode it after. I'd love something with the Nemesis, like a scale replica like they did with the Ark.

Its a guarantee thats what they will do. That leg section transforms like the G1 version by splitting up. And along with what we have seen, this confirms to be an upscale of the G1 figure with modernized engineering.
In Beast Wars: Uprising, Trypticon instead got reconfigured into the Dinosaur, with his city mode given the name "Dinosaur City".truegrit wrote:I know it's a longshot, but I would love it if Trypticon also transformed into the Nemesis

That doesn't make it terrible though. I mean it'll be nice to see a large-scale version of that with the modern engineering behind it. I just worry about price point at that. Take Hasbro's AT-ACT walker from Star Wars Rogue One being like MSRP: $300.00 or so. I hope Trypticon is not that much as the after market will probably be like if you bought a nice used car.

JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Here I have a rather silly thought: what if they limit the Titan Master to whatever partner (Brunt or Full-Tilt) Trypticon comes with?
Or even better: just don't do the gimmick at all? I highly doubt Trypticon would have been part of the poll for a Titan Wars themed Titan if they didn't already have thrown ideas around for Titan Master integration. Besides, didn't the poll just say "Next Titan" without any mention of the gimmick?

I thought the way the gimmick integrated was not with the titan being a headmaster but rather the fact that the base mold can acomodate titan masters and have interaction points with them. That seems to be what the heads of the brand were saying at their nycc panel.
