Perhaps I am in the minority here, but the original G1 Blitzwing to me looked a little awkward at times, especially in jet mode because of the asthetic of the other Decepticon jets at the time.

This figure however looks to be awesome and the Springer will be a buy for me as well. I would like to see some scale shots though to see how they will display with existing figures. I hope they are both a little smaller than Blaster/Soundwave.

Just took another look at the bot mode for Springer... he is a bit lanky aint he! :lol:

Has anyone noticed the very long and protruding pointy knee blade whatsits he is sporting?
I didnt spot them on first viewing but looking now, they seem obviously prominent. Hope they can be folded up without hindering the articulation?

Not really, they're clearly offset from the actual knees. They look like they're a centimeter or two offset. And...how would they even hinder articulation? Are you planning on doing something terrible to Springer's legs!?

They look like they might be landing gear for chopper mode? And it looks like they might fold up. Whether they do or not, I don't see any reason to be concerned about them.

I only thought they might hinder otherwise why would Hasbro fold them down? Just a thought. :-?

Dont get me wrong, this version of Springer is on my Wants List and will replace the small Asia Deluxe version in my Neo-Classics 'The Wreckers' line up! :WRECKERS:

Dare I say, I also feel a little concerned at how much weight those upper arm/shoulder joints will take? Lets hope they dont get too floppy after a few Transformations or the odd Dr Wu metal weapon replacement!
