PCC Wave 2 Reviews

Postby baltmatrix » Mon Nov 01, 2010 2:16 pm

Icepick w/ Chainclaw
-My least favorite of the three in this wave. The figure isn't bad, it just feels completely uninspired. It has almost the exact same transformation as Energon Snowcat but without anything that made that figure interesting. Chainclaw on the other hand is a great little mini-con. Yes, the transformation is simple but the figure's coloring and overall look is excellent.

Leadfoot w/ Pinpoint
-Of the three this is my favorite figure. My only grip with it is that the figures hands are WAY out of proportion from the rest of the toy. Other than that the transformation and look are top notch. Plus the PCC mode is interesting. Pinpoint is equally awesome. He is the closest thing fans have had to a powermaster figure in years.

Sledge w/ Throttler

-A very interesting vehicle and robot mode makes this guy a nice figure. Plus one of the best mini-cons. The PCC mode sadly is not that great.

Reveal the Shield Turbo Tracks

Postby baltmatrix » Mon Nov 01, 2010 2:25 pm

When I saw this figure on-line early I said, "self, why not?". So I picked this figure up from KOTOYS.com.

This guy is a fantastic homage to the G1 figure but there are a few issues that the future buyer should be aware of.
1) The car modes doesn't stay together all that well. It's nothing serious but it does need to be mentioned
2) The articulation is several hampered by car kibble. When watching the review notice how limited the leg and arm movements are.
3) Top heavy with loose feet = face plant. :P

In total, he's not perfect but the look of the robot mode makes up for all his shortcomings. I recommend him.

Looks awesome!

I have to admit I wasn't expecting too much this figure, but it looks really good.

My review of the Transformers: Generations Thunderwing

I apologize for not knowing about the drone. That's entirely my fault. Instead of making a whole different video on it, i took some pictures which hopefully, satisfy the curiosity of people. If you'd like any other pictures, just lemme know :)

Awesome figure, I really like the double gun combination. It's pretty badass.

Spada Reviews Generations Thunderwing

Postby baltmatrix » Mon Nov 08, 2010 9:49 pm

This figure has completely won me over. It's great in both modes, has a nice transformation and has multiple nods to the original G1 toy. This is one figure you need to purchase.

I've got quite a nice page so far, though I don't believe any of my videos are anything fancy. I just thought it would be nice if you guys could take a look, tell me what you think in the comments if you like. I don't have a lot of views or anything so if you do guys do decide to subscribe that would be great. ^-^
