As in, to make the hole for Arcana wider to make it fit in better.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
its not totally fair to compare the two scenarios. the difference in design and especially quality between defender and G.springer is paramount. the official springer blew defender out of the water in every conceivable way.mooncake623 wrote:Let's hope so! Kind of weird that the after market didn't plummet like defender has isn't it? Also just checked when it came out it was 68.99 at BBTS wonder why their Headmasters are now $80.

whereas smart robin and G.brainstorm both have highly redeeming qualities. brainstorm is a retail figure which will be widely available and for a good price. also he looks pretty great, and people really dig the IDW look. on the flipside, smart robin has an AMAZING design and a different aesthetic. and people might be invested in FP's entire headmaster line, and itd make for an odd looking shelf to stray now. not to mention, when a 3P item sells out, the secondary market prices can explode.

Also, the $80 price point is mainly for Mindwipe - and he's a good deal bigger than the other Function X robots.

Still I bet that's the new price point going forward!

Oddly, BBTS has Chromia in stock but not Arcee.

I've had my preorder for the pair in since April, so I'd have thought if it were the former, I'd be near the top of the list....

Chromia is part of a test program Hasbro's running where retailers can order entire cases of a single figure. Star Wars Black 6" Stormtroopers are another example. This is also why Amazon has also only received Chromia and not Arcee.
The assortment with Chromia and Arcee has been bogged down by union worker issues on the west coast, hence only California sightings before now. Seeing as they've moved a bit further east, I'd suspect some better proliferation from here out. Or hope? Something.

I love the greenish off-black they used and the mold in question is great- a decent size and very well articulated. I'm definitely planning on starting a Legends collection now.

Nice.
