When is Thrilling 30 officially over?
It's over, but for some reason the mods have decided that this thread should be only thread for discussion of the Generations line.
robotmel wrote:Perhaps we could ask Primeultimus to retitle the thread, dropping the 'Thrilling 30' part?

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

Though he started the thread, he didn't give it its current name.robotmel wrote:GuyIncognito wrote:Cobotron wrote:One quick question.

Shadowman wrote:This is Sabrblade we're talking about. His ability to store trivial information about TV shows is downright superhuman.
Caelus wrote:My wife pointed out something interesting about the prehistoric Predacons. I said that everyone was complaining because transforming for them mostly consisted of them just standing up-right. She essentially said, 'So? That's what our ancestors did.'
I meant that as though to say Primeultimus need not be the one to change the title when one of the mods can do it.GuyIncognito wrote:Does it matter who started the thread or who named it?

Or, once the year rolls by and we cease getting Thrilling 30 news, someone can make a new Generations Combiner Wars discussion thread.
Tsutsukakushi wrote:Price needs to be a factor because these HasTak Combiners Wars toys will cost $80 in USA store for the complete gestalt. $80 is a fraction of what Most 3rd party Combiners cost which is around $450 to complete the gestalt.
For $80 HasTak's CW combiners can successfully compete and beat most $450+ 3rd party combiners. I'm sure if HasTak's CW or MP combiners cost $450+ in USA stores, We'd get something a billion times better that most 3rd party TF combiners toys.
Rather get the most out of my money and get 6 HasTak CW Gestalt for the price of one 3rd party combiner.
Don't care for TFC's boxy looking under sculpted combiners team members. Like the HasTak CW Stunticons limbs-bots better because they are bigger and are higher sculpted.
If I'm going to spend that exspensive money on 3rd party TF toys. Then the TF character needs to have a flesh out personality in the fiction. Lets face it, None of the G-1 combiners in the 1980's TF cartoon. Got any real personality, Most of them barely spoke a word or sentence in each episode. Most were given quickie generic persona's.
I only feel comfortable spending $15 to $22 on most Combiners team members. Because none of them got any fleshed out personas in the 1980's fiction. Don't have enough love to spend $450 on a 3rd party gestalt due to them almost being drones with barely any persona in the 1980's cartoon.
Tsutsukakushi wrote:Disagree my ROTF Superion did not need any 3rd party add ons kits to look better or fix problems.
Thought the 3rd party add on feet and hands for ROTF Superion were not needed. As HasTak already created Pop on and pop off Hands and feet for ROTF Superion that were fully articulated.

At 20$, it's more than I'm willing to spend. Should I wait for a sale?

A genius scientist and diabolical inventor, Brainstorm develops advanced weaponry for the Autobots. Although many of his inventions are deemed too devastating for use in actual combat, it's possible his laboratory itself is his most dangerous creation. Brainstorm frequently ignores proper safety protocols, and an unwary visitor to his lab runs a high risk of triggering some half-finished doomsday weapon. In spite of this, he is allowed to continue his work, proof of just how valuable Brainstorm is to the Autobot cause.
Gear up for hardcore Transformers action with this awesome 2-in-1 Brainstorm figure! This crazy Autobot can launch a fierce double-fisted blaster attack at his Autobot enemies in robot mode. But if the mission calls for fast-flying recon, he can convert to jet mode. Keep converting him back and forth so his enemies can't keep up!
Figure comes with accessories.
Incredible 2-in-1 Brainstorm figure
Converts from robot mode to jet mode
Twin blasters
Head converts to pilot
