My Asia Kids Day Protectobots shipped yesterday. I think I should have them by the weekend.
Both boxed sets are still available at Amazon, if anybody is still interested.
3-Pack
2-pack
Both $32.99
I would have liked to see slightly more accurate color schemes. Here's hoping we still get a Combiner Wars Defensor.

Arent those protectobots gonna be tru or target exclusives ? I was under the assumpiion they were because those are the kind of silly sets I would expect as retailer exclusives...I kind of want them, but kinda dont. Not sure why they didnt use the hotspot head sculpt. That really bugs me. Makes him look like a faded inferno.

No, they never were. They were exclusive to the Transformers Asia Kids Day event over in somewhere in Southeast Asia.Rated X wrote:Arent those protectobots gonna be tru or target exclusives ?

Thanks for the reminder, Rated X. You're right. It's a near-perfect Arcee, in pink, will look great on Classics or G1 shelf.... and it's running us about $15. Praise Hasbro for listening to us after all these years. Hats off!

Oh well. I already have an Arcee so it doesn't matter. I'd be up for any repaints though.

I am seriously thinking about getting this figure. Pretty nice model. Besides a few weird parts, it's still pretty cool. Thanks for the review!!

She looks great! So glad Hasbro gave her the attention she deserves. Also very glad I didnt go down the Impossible Toys/iGear route, this looks far superior. Now hurry up Kapow and get her sent!

With the recent reveal of Takara's version of Arcee, I have decided to forgo getting Hasbro's in favor of waiting for Takara's super show-accurate Arcee.

Boy after seeing the paint differences between the Hasbro and the Takara one, I can not for the life of me even stomach looking at the Hasbro one. Too much black. Takara one completely show accurate. I'll take Takara.. I'm actually getting real tired of Hasbro's paint apps. They were getting better for a while, but it seems that they don't care or know proper paint schemes for these characters anymore.

Meh i like the black, after years of collecting bionicle, i hate the color grey Takara's using on Arcee, cartoon accurate or not. For those who don't know, in the later years of bionicle toys,Lego used to like to use that color of grey allot .

Now Hasbro gives you all an official classics Arcee at less than ¼ the price and you expect a miracle of engineering ?
You all should be happy you finally got an Arcee that’s both a car and cartoon accurate pink. I personally like it and could care less about the back kibble. I pose my figures facing forward not turned around.
Post of the day, honestly this is virtually the iGear version for 1/4 of the price and people are complaining? No wonder Hasbro do half arsed molds when they get complaints about the ones they actually get right.

not a very nice picture mind you, but the basics of their paint scheme is there. and its spot on!
after watching the video, i feel much better about the mold, especially the car mode. and even though the takara one is superior, ill get both. ive been doing that a lot lately...

Not sure I like it considering it will be insanley priced as all Takara stuff is, I'll stick with the Hasbro one, actually quite like the black on her helps to break up the colour scheme the Takara one looks a little incipid.

I like the black as well. I'll probably have to order her online unfortunately. Generations are a complete non entity in my neck if the woods. AOE stuff is severely clogging up the shelves.
The back pack isn't so gnarly. I'd have liked it to collapse a little more but that would mean more unsightly seems in alt mode.
Some side to side ankle tilt would have been spectacular but whatever. She's a great lookin figure

I like the black on the Hasbro one, it helps to break up the pink. Hope Kapow Toys get her in stock soon, after 28 years of waiting for a G1 Arcee then I'm very eager to find out if she's been worth the wait. Looks great.

I'm getting the Hasbro version. I like the black.
I have been into transformers since 1984.
While I love G1 I also love new innovations and takes on the characters.
I prefer official Hasbro releases of stuff for the most part
I'm not a huge fan of Japanese original Transformers media or designs.
It's easier for me to say which are my LEAST favorite toy lines: Beast Machines, Robots in Disguise.
TFCon List: Classics Skywarp, General Optimus, BW Airrazor, Transmetal Tarantulus, Alternity Prime, Fire Convoy

Have you checked BBTS? Takara ones are only 30 dollars. The way the dollar is continuing to decrease in value, our Hasbro ones will only go up in price. For 15 more dollars you get a superior product that you'll be happier with and have saved an economic cost of post-market price-gouging by scalpers later. I kind of wish now that I had done the same with a lot of the Henkei classics figures back in the day now. Thankfully an ex girlfriend got me the Henkei Optimus Prime voyager mold. Love love love that toy. But yeah, Chromia and Windblade also look a lot better. Same mold, I just don't want to have to learn to paint them myself, and that's worth 15 dollars to me. I can't wait to see Takara's Jhiaxus. Hopefully it's the more accurate deco.
