Last night the Mrs. and I were at Wal-Mart near out house. We went to the electronics to check out the new DVD's when I noticed Transformers was playing on the TV's they have on display. It was toward the end, where Sam was taking the Allspark to the roof. Anyway, the department is right across for jewelry, where all 3 of the women, all over 50 by the looks of it, were watching it, and you know what" They were talking about which Autobot was their favorite! Never thought I'd live to hear 2 older women argue over who was better: Bumblebee or Ironhide.

I don't find it weird for grannys and grandpas to like TF. It shows they're breaking off from stereotypes. Now they know how to enjoy what they want to enjoy.

Just think of it this way ... we'll be those old people one day. Hopefully I'll be able to attend BotCon before my pension is paying for it though.

I have an odd idea if my grandma was to watch Tf, she would have believed the transformers were real, she's really naive, she tends to believe what she sees on TV, I think it's because she's not used to technology and can't speak or write English, and hardly reads the newspaper.

I work with a lady who is in her upper 50s and both she and her husband are big transformer fans. They kept all their kids' toys and are always searching for TFs for their collection. When I first met her I was glad to know that I wasn't the oldest fan out there.
Now if only she would break down and get the internet and visit seibertron, she'll live up here. :grin:

I showed it to my father and he has already seen it four times in a row. He not only liked the alt modes but the tf characters as well. Now he keeps asking me if there will be a second one and when will it possibly be out. :lol:
