Anyone know of any place online that has a pricing guide for Transformers?
Mostly for anything after G1. I'm only interested in buying from Armada to current. Maybe some Machine Wars too =P I'm not looking for any particular figure, I'm just addicted to buying these things.
Basically I'm going to a toy fair this weekend and don't want to get ripped off [intentionally or unintentionally]. I'm not too aware of what is rare and what is not. Thanks guys.

The only advise I can offer is to figure out which ones you may want before hand and then check out ebay or other online stores for similar figures and compare their prices.

I did and then I ended up buying one =P
Armada Skywarp NIB for $15 plus $7 shipping.
What do you guys think is too much for something that's not complete? For example, if I find a fig for around $40 NIB, what would/should/usually is the price drop?

Depends on a few factors:
1) Is the figure missing any accessories OTHER than the box and/or instructions?
Many collectors like me don't care for a package, and as such are more likely to pay the same price for a fig not in box (and good condition) as compared to a fig in box
2) Are there pieces missing? How many pieces are left.
My personal theory is, for each piece missing (not including box/paperwork) take 10% off the fig's price. One day you may find a fig that only has that piece for real cheap. Personally though I never buy incomplete.
3) How worn is the fig?
If it's out of the box, it has been handled on more than one occasion. I usually take cues for the actual picture to guage if the figure's been well handled, or barely handled. Look for paint/Sticker wear as the main clue, also joints that should be tight against one another instead have a bit of a gap is a good indication. Ebay's descrip[tions can be a little misleading, but online stores descriptions usually aren't.
On a worn figure, my thinking is he's worth at least 15% less to me.
4) How old is the Fig?
Let's face it, there are not that many authentic MIB G1 Grimlocks anymore with no play wear. If you want the original, you may have to accept a worn out fig at least as a space saver until something better comes along.
Nice catch on that Skywarp by the way
