No surprise that Megatron didn't even make the list considering he's only in the last 1/2 hour of the movie and didn't really do anything outright evil. He was more or less portrayed just as a pissed off alien robot trying to find something that he lost, maybe at the expense of a couple of squished humans. Nothing about that rings "top villain" to me either. Hell, Frenzy was more badass than Megatron since he actually (and intentionally) killed a few people.

Cool to see Prime's name in there, though. I'm sure that after another one or two more movies, he'll move up the list.

Heck, given the shoddy nature of this list, I'm amazed Godzilla didn't make it on. EITHER list, for that matter; if the AFI could list the Governator as both hero AND villain, surely these folks could have given a ginormous fire-snorting lizard his due along with a collie and some mute brutes with machetes.

Granted, Jones is cool and all...I can never miss an installment of the movies...but, come on! As I said before...a silly list created by silly people!

As for Lassie beating out Prime....Prime lacks doe-eyes and a furry face, thus making her more endearing to most humans...............
