Is the Optimus Prime First Edition voyager figure the SAME one that comes with the Optimus vs Megatron FE pack?

don't think so. IIRC the single packed First Edition was Voyager size, and the 2 pack had a Deluxe class.

yeah I'm just noticing this now on some youtube reviews. Stinks cause I have the FE Megatron, which rocks, but the scale is gonna be terribly off standing next to the far superior Voyager OP.

The Entertainment Pack with Optimus vs. Megatron are [both] Deluxe Class.

If you want better scale with FE Voyager Prime, go with PRiD Voyager Megatron. He's only a tad bit shorter.

PRID Megartron is also a horrible toy. Flopfest.

It's still the only Prime Megatron that is in closest scale with FE Voyager Optimus.

RID Voyager Megatron is not that bad, in fact I like him. Though if you really concerned about the scale, go ahead and get RID OP too, he is really good IMO too.

Yeah I remember liking the PRID OP when I first saw it in person, but it wasn't until I started watching comparison videos that I realized how much more accurate the FE one was.

But with a hefty $60-$75 dollar pricetag I've seen on Ebay, along with looking horribly unscaled with other figures, I'm asking myself "is it worth it?"

The Entertainment pack is coming again and it's your duty to buy it. I never had it, but I did bought a Botcon Exclusive 1st Ed. Deluxe OP from the HST. When I learned that I could never buy a secon one in store, I just open him up and played with him. The Deluxe version is a very well made and awesome toy. Great looking in both modes and fun to transform. Months later, after enjoying my FE collection that I bought in store last Febuary and some RiD voyagers as well (Megs among them) I had the opportunity to buy a Takara Deluxe 1st Ed. Megatron... for 20$... in person... so no extra shipping costs! So Of course I bought it and I openned this sucker up right away. Man, the deluxe Megs is WAY superior than the voyager one. It's better looking in both modes and the transformation is easier and more fun. The one you'll get in the Entertainment Pack may have less paint aps then the Takara one, but it's still the same mold. So just get them, scale be damned!

No, only Megatron was released as a single, by TakaraTomy even. TWICE: once as FE, then again in the Arms Micron line.

Well, there's the Orion Pax release, but that will cost a pretty penny.

There are ways to get Deluxe Prime by himself, but not at retail.



1. You could just buy a Deluxe Prime off of eBay

2. Buy the Matrix of Leadership SDCC Deluxe Prime and waste more money



3. Import the Orion Pax figure from Japan and waste even more money.

Just get both already by buying the very affordable Entertainment Pack.
