Me too, but it'd sure be great if it had a removable face-place (flip-up) like Animated Voyager Prime.
zodconvoy wrote:The only reason even I'm considering getting a Buster Prime is I'm planning to have the standard Leader be combined with Jetfire on a Movie/RotF. Right now I still have the Premium Leader on the Prime shelf and I really have no desire to replace that desplay a second time. Maybe if they release Buster in the States... Still not keen on it.
That's a great idea, but I'm keeping mine Buster Prime MISB. If they release an US version Buster Prime, I'll buy another and open that one instead.

they're cheap as piss on ebay atm too so i'm toying with picking up another one, cracking him open & re-wiring his eyes to always be on, then picking up those lovely LED guns that were in the news recently.
i had (and loved to his literal death) a g1 prime as a kid, but he's actually slightly disappointing as an adult so personally i don't want to grab another one. the cybertron prime is pretty funky, as is masterpiece prime but he costs a stupid amount.

There's no arguing that RotF Leader OP is a better representation of the character as the likeness is very close at all angles. I also think the transformation is wonderfully satisfying for anyone who enjoys transformation design. But there's a charm that 07 Leader OP has. I can definitely see why so many people praised the toy when it was first released.
It is a fun toy back when it was released, but then people saw how good ROTF Prime looked and it was abandoned.

I don't blame them. I mean, RotF Leader OP is a magnificent toy in my opinion. It's not perfect but it does a lot of things so well.

SKYWARPED_128 wrote:Actually, ROTF OP hasn't got any weapons to hold, since his swords are built into his forearms. I've a theory that Has/Tak already knew they were going to release Buster OP, and thus designed his hands to accomodated the double blasters, so you can use the blasters even with ROTF OP. If they used the same movable fingers that were in the movie one OP, there's no way he could hold onto the blasters without pegs in his hands.
So, to kill two birds with one stone, they simply made a single molded fist to also save costs.
Just my theory, anyway.
It's also to hold the supergun formed from Jetfire's tail, which is likely far too heavy for articulated fingers to hold.

Indeed, and to list one of them. Screen-accurate gun.
