So this summer my friends are kidnapping me and taking me to Otakon, a huge anime convention in Baltimore. Anime is not really my thing, and I've never been to any convention of any kind before, so I have a feeling I'm going to be, well, a little bit overwhelmed.
So I was just wondering if any of y'all are also going to be there, just because I think it would be fun to have someone to look for. 
Or if you're not going to be there, but have tips for a naive young woman going to her first convention, that would also be very much appreciated.

Hit the vendors looking for Transformers stuff or whateva. The Game room is pretty awesome too. You will have a good time. Just have fun while you are there.

I am going to be there definitely!!! I live outside of Baltimore and this is one of the few cons in close range that are worth going to.
