Okay, so we all hang out here to talk about Transformers (our relative fav), but here on the Non-TF toy board I wanted to toss out there: with all the other lines available now, such as MOTU, Thundercats, etc...what other toy lines have you always wanted to see redone and updated with todays toy technology?

Here are two of mine:

One show I remember watching as a kid was King Arthur and the Knights of Justice. I always thought they would make cool action figures.

Also, another old toy line I can't remember the name of...but there were 3 main guys...a red one, a blue one, and a green one (i think one was like air, one water, or something), and each guy had a bunch of ports all over their bodies that you could attach weapons, rocket-booster wings, and such...anyone remember the name of them? Anyways, would love to see those remade today also.

Any others?

I'd say that line could have potential with the current generation.

Visionaries...was that the one that had the totally un-articulated figures with a glow-in-the-dark base figure, and each one had clothes or armor you attached onto the figure with a weapon? (the one I remember most vividly was a greenish, glow-in-the-dark skeleton that wore a plastic robe/cowl and had a staff...always made me think of Raistlin Majere).

If thats not the right guess...can anyone else refute my insanity and remind me what these toys I am thinking of were called?

Also, my next addition: TRON.

ZOMG these guys could totally be updated with today's toy techniques and be like omgwtfbbq!

*Robotech/Macross.
*The original Zoids (the ones that had to be built).
*Dino-Riders.
*M.A.S.K for sure.
*Centurions for sure.
*Rock lords. Modern ones could be very interesting in both 'people' version and actual rock look.
*A line that was something similar to todays' Gormiti- there were 4 factions- Air, Earth, Fire, Water but they had rub signs so you 'never' knew what faction was going up against what until you checked. There was a polarization circle that always forced a victory or defeat on the neighboring factions in the circle. I forgot the name of the line decades ago.

Wheeled Warriors
Air Raiders

Fuuu... who was the guy in the weird orange jumpsuit that had the blue alien on his back... it was kind of a transforming-gimmick. This is gonna drive me nuts... damn... typed in "80's toy blue alien" into google and found it right away. "Power Lords"!

Would welcome any of these revived... other than TF & MOTU... these 5 were my next favorites.

Battle Beasts! Yes, I owned a crap-load of those as well. In FACT... I think that line IS being revived as we speak. I saw something on it recently, though I wasn't too impressed. Anyone else know what I'm talking about and have a link?

Extreme Dinosaurs and Street Sharks are up there for me, with today's posability and toy technology, they would sell like hot cakes. What kid wouldnt want a buff trex riding a rocket powered super scooter with missile launchers on it? Good times.

Visionaries. Use the revamped 35th/30th anniversary GI Joes style of construction, and add in some translucent plastic for each character's animal. Done. Dusted.

oh yes! Exo Squad! that cartoon and toys had so much potential...! but who knows what happened! now I see GI JOE doing something similar...

All thread does is to show many toy lines were great back the day!

How many these lines's cartoons would be hits if debuted at any time but late 80's- early 90's. I heard in particular MASK was plagued by being shown by eg 2:00 PM on school days, although I seem to remember in DFW it was on at a decent hour for school kids.
