Picked this and Skyburst and the Aerialbots set today, chose to open the Comaticons first.
Can't say i'm overly impressed. While Bombshock himself is a nice little figure, the whole combining gimmick, just like in Energon, fails.
Credit to Hasbro though for doing things a little bit different. This time around the limbs do not transform into individual robots, they are merely drones.
The nifty little trick Hasbro did with them though is that you don't need to do anything to them to become the limbs. Simply plug them in and a bunch of springs automatically transforms them into the limbs.
Downside to this however is that the arms need to be arms and the legs need to be legs. The only thing really interchangable is the Power Core bot it's self.
Lookwise, well it looks gangly, the missile carrier drone who forms the right arm in particular, no limbs should be able to bend that way!
It's a nice enough little figure, but nothing to get really excited over.

This is pretty much what I thought. I was wondering if it would be possible to remove the springs and add proper articulation so you transform them yourself. I doubt you can answer that question though, Burn!

Why people would think I wouldn't know how to add articulation is beyond me. I articulated a goddamn G1 Stalker!
Looking at missile drone ... you could squeeze a couple of ball joints in there.
Tank drone you could do a little bit, probably not worth it though.
Both legs though are basically just blocks that have feet flip out. Nothing to articulate there.
