After showing up on e-bay the new Toysrus exclusive Power Core Combiner value packs have now been listed on toysrus.com.
Currently it's just the Aerialbot 5 Pack and Searchlight with Backwind which has been spotted on e-bay with no indication of any other sets like this. This could be a sign that the Aerialbot 5 Pack which is said to be the weakest set in the line isn't selling to well, oddly enough owners of this set did state that the Aerialbot drones work better with Searchlight who is included in this set, so if you've been planning on picking up both this is your chance to save some money while doing so.

That's a great deal. I know some don't like the PCCs, but if you're on the fence you should get one of these sets to try them. For $20, you get a LOT of play value!

Maybe they're trying to minimize how much you see Skyburst so that you'll make it to the purchase before realizing how horrible his mold is?

I think that#s how they get these boxes, and then they just have to pack the Skybursts that are clogging their shelves in?

I like the smaller Commanders. They're basically like Targetmaster Scouts.

But I don't see the appeal of the larger five packs. They should sell drones on their own so you can mix and match with whatever Commander you want.

Nah, this is all brand new stock. I'm sure TRU solicited Hasbro some kind of "value pack" for the holidays. They've done it in the past, with bonus minicons, scouts, etc.

These are never genuine repackages. I.e. there is a never a time when Hasbro receives stock, opens it, and then repackages it. It's not cost effective at all.

Again, I'm only getting ones I think would make nice updates to G1 characters, so I may get the value-pack. I can't really think of a G1 Autobot that was a dual helicopter, so I'll have to think about it. :-?
