Confirming what everybody already knew, the BB s a new scout sized BB mold. With a slightly different transformation.
What we didn't know is the Hydro portion does not need to be removed to transform him.
Priced as a Voyager, seems a tad expensive for a scout. If Hasbro decided to release just the a scout BB, I'd likely pick it up. If only because its in better scale to the other figures.

It's surprisingly well designed, but my god are those paint apps fugly. I wonder if accuracy nuts over in Japan are importing Hasbro's versions instead of the other way around XD

Doubly glad I canceled my preorder now.
The original Bumblebee is still better, even if he is out of scale. I'll deal with the size issues. This is just craptastic, honestly.
I definitely don't like the gold "chrome" all over.
And the backpack is even cheesier than I expected. =\

Heh heh, I FINALLY had something before peaugh. Idk why Hasbro would call him "Hydrodive" Bumblebee, doesn't even look like it goes in the ocean. Anyway, yeah, this is a decent figure, but only get him if you really like Animated
