I like this. I like it a lot.

It is a perfect melding of Zoids and TF.

However, I have nowhere in which to display it. It doesn't group with anything else particularly well, and I am trying really hard to be more selective about what I buy.

I'll just have to admire it in pictures.

This looks awesome! Although I like it as a Robot... Not a Transformer... The fact that he thinks it looks good with MP10 is silly to me. :lol:

Good lord he looks remarkable. I've been waiting for this figure. I'm impressed that he surpasses Warden. Must have for sure.

It seems like he's sold out most places by now. Does anyone know how typical is it for Perfect Effect to reissue pieces? I saw that Xerxes is supposed to have improved joints, so I'm wondering if I should wait for an update, or shell out the $200 he's going for now.

Unless you have a very strong attachment to Beastformers, especially Lio Convoy, DON'T DO IT! HE IS NOT WORTH $200, LET ALONE $150! I grew up on Beast Wars, and loved ALL the Primals, but even I was sorely let down by this figure. PE is not particularly known for re-releasing large figures, but they did so with Warden. Only get Leonidas, if you must, should a re-release come out with Xerxes' fixes. Even then, once the "Ooooh kewl robot! Oooh kewl blood swords!" novelty wears off, you might feel bad for having spent $150+ for a mediocre transforming toy.

I'd bet my bottom dollar that this will get a re-release. After the release of Warden, I think everyone should know that you shouldn't go into a PE transformer looking fora fun pleasant transformation. They are putting out super poseable robots with high accessory counts that happen to transform. That said, I love Warden & am still highly tempted by this.

Yes it is typical. I remember when their Black Arachnia was supposed to be limited, eventually it sold out and came back a few months (maybe a year) later. Also Warden sold out but a recent re-release with the add-on parts has started showing up at stores.
