Well for one thing "springer" and the "Bruticus" add-on are made by Fansproject, this is made by Perfect Effect, the maker of the TAW God sword. I preordered these, honestly, I don't care about the colors, I just want me some shoulder guns for a commander kit.

I'm really liking how this little fella is turning out! I would love to see an updated Machine Wars Soundwave made to match with this figure (scale wise).

Yeah, I see your point, but honestly, I don't think that Hasbro cares, after all Fansproject made the TFCon exclusive Powered Commander, and Hasbro did nothing, as long as they don't use the names they can't really sue them either, Hasbro obviously doesn't hold a patent on transforming toys, and they can't exactly patent likenesses either. :wink:

Yeah, I think you're exactly right about that. I think that, any alarm bells that can go off probably have already. To little effect. Alarm bells have likely been raised and .... nothing. Maybe Hasbro doesn't think it's worth their time? I dunno.

Like some of the others, I like it for the bot mode but not for the alt. I would've much preferred if he transformer into something more Decepticon-esque (and no, dark Autobot doesn't count), maybe if his pistons could've become a silencer for Classics Megatron and his body was the stock, then that would've been more appealing, but that's just me.

What's more Decepticonish that a big freaking gun that can be held by most Transformers?

I cannot wait for this guy to join my collection. I preordered with RobotKingdom.com and with shipping it was 36.60. BBTS has the figure for 36.99. So it ends up being cheaper from RobotKingdom. It takes a few days longer to receive though.
I like the idea of a Frenzy/Rumble type figure being released for the Shadow Commander. I wonder if the next two releases we heard about will be geared towards the DIA Commander and City Commander to give us a closer representation to Rumble/Frenzy...
I'll be getting the other versions regardless...

Big guns aren't really a faction style, since,barring Animated, the Autobots pack just as much heat as the Decepticons do, heck, some of the biggest, most badass guns are wielded by the good guys.
