MP Megs? Around P4K.

hi guys, im planning on making atrip to the philippines, where are some great places to find TFs.... not movie or allspark stuff as i can find those already here in the US.... since you guys are close to japan, im thinking you guys have a lot of takara stuff.... so, wheres some great places to buy TF figures, and what will i be able to find at the local department stores, as well as independent retailers. thanks for the help

Your first stop should be Greenhills. Lots of shops in there. Counting around 10. If you know how to find them. These are the shops where you can find old and new series. Even old damaged toys.

Next stop will be Makati. I know a few shops inside Glorietta. Not sure if there are others outside.

There's also a small shop in Robinson's Ermita. Near the arcade gaming area.

Another place of interest is a shop located at the basement of Megamall. I forgot the name. (Comic Alley?) It's near the junction between A and B. Not many figures in here. But sometimes, a few interesting ones will pop up.

Others will be Alabang, and other shops in the south.

Malls and department stores should be the least of your priorities. As those usually sell current figures, which is the Movie/Allspark series.

ask your relative/friend for a one-day trip to Greenhills, the biggest collection of hobby/novelty stuff in the country. make sure you've got enough Peso with you, some of the loot you'll find there are rarely seen in the U.S., and i'm not talking only of Transformers but other collectibles also.

there are many others but these are what i know of.

tip: don't forget to haggle! though the discounts they give sometimes might be minimal, but at least every Peso you save could count towards more TFs and stuff. also, ask if you can haggle substantially when buying many items at one store.

i dunno however if you can get many toys with your dollar, since Philippine stores usually sell TFs at a higher price mark (e.g. $10 deluxes SRP here @ P 700, a markup to $17). just bring a lot of dollars with you if you wanna maximize your toyhunting experience here.

I just came from Davao City and if you happen to be in that area and looking for a Movie Leader Class Megs, the Toy Kingdom in the local SM Mall happens to have 4 in stock.

Anyone seen Stockade yet?

stockade spotted that at comic alley megamall,the toy shop at greenhills theatre mall and you could try jae(megamall),maybe they have that too..

im sorry but i dont know how much it is..

and also megamall tk have restocked tf's they have i cant remember what its called but it is a replica of a movie scene where bumblebee was captured by sector 7..bumblebeis the same camaro concept mode but the robto body is painted with a gray paint instead of the black one..i think that's 1499

I saw Stockade at the TriNoMa Comic Alley on 2/2/2008. Price is inflated though.

Our only hope will be to see it at Toy Kingdom.

I saw Voyager Megs at a Robinson's Dept store.

More Movie Leaders sighted at the Toy Kingdom in SM Cagayan de Oro. 3 Megs and 1 Prime.

Of all the places to find a MP-03 SS in G1 colors. I found one in Butuan city near a donut shop. Along with MP skywarp, they sell for P5500.00 Quite over price.
