Ok. That size comparison with the hasbro one sealed it. This is gonna be my Grimlock. The FOC look fits in with the FP dino's (my hasbro FOC Grim is in there) but this guy looks awesome. Just need some coloured shots.

I know Generations Grimlock compresses down a fair bit when going to dino mode, but that size difference is extraordinary.
I'm not going to pretend that the Generations figure is by any means a bad one, but I'm really glad I held off getting it now.

This figure is looking better with every picture that comes out.
I love the fact that we're getting varied styles from Planet X, Fansproject and Toyworld. It really does cater to various needs. TW is going for the G1 homage, PX is going for the FoC look and FP have got this nice unique balance between the two.
So far I've been picking up the FP figures as they suit my tastes and collection the most, but I'm not afraid to mix'n'match (as long as colours are similar). What with FP Grimlock looking a little underwhelming (early days though), this one is definitely my backup option.
I love FoC Grimlock, it's the best Grimlock so far outside of the MP version, and for me he really works alongside my FP figures. If this guy's colours match the Takara version then I think I'll get him.

Hopefully they'll do WFC Warpath, the Insecticons (including some of the generic Insecticons that attacked you in swarms), the Leapers, Voyager versions of WFC/FOC Prime and Megatron, or an actually good FoC Bruticus (or maybe new limbs for the Microblaze Onslaught). Or if we're really, really lucky, a Titan scale TRYPTICON.

Well he was big enough to house an entire level inside in WFC, so Trypticon is still pretty damn big. (Although Supreme class would scale well with MakeToys Utopia).

Trypticon's remains were also a level in RotDS. Dude's definitely city-sized when not in dinosaur mode.
I'd buy a good WFC Trypticon regardless of size class, but if he were 2 feet tall like Metroplex, I shudder to think how pricey the figure would be.
