Will it work? Do I need to do something to Airachnid's head (besides remove the helicopter seat in back of her head) in order to fit in both robot and plane mode?

I'm getting the Japanese version of Prime's Airachnid to replace the Hasbro one. But I also wanna buy the 1st Edition Prime Starscream (either the regular one or the Exclusive "Dark Energon" one) so I can take Airachnid's head and put it on Starscream's body.
Will it work? Do I need to do something to Airachnid's head (besides remove the helicopter seat in back of her head) in order to fit in both robot and plane mode?
