Astrotrain looks like the Fisher Price circus train. Why not take it a step further and have TRAIN tampo'ed on the side a la G2?

Blitzwing is growing on me. (Though I'd prefer OG colors for never having any prior G1 versions.) I don't know what they were thinking with Astrotrain. Nerf gun Astrotrain on LSD?

Yeah, Cobotron, I usually agree with you on having fun with transformers, but that Astrotrain does not appeal to me in any way. especially at the assumend high price. I really hope someone eventually gets to interview a hasbro employee asking about the colors.

Pretty fugly. I used to own a G1 blitzwing. Comparing it to the current voyager generations figure, I can't believe how primitive the G1 is. That and the horrible paint schemes makes this an easy 'nope'.

Thats OK. We can still be friends. I hope we get an answer too. I like the wacky colors, but I still want to know why.

Wow. That Astrotrain looks like he got hit up side the head with some down-home 'Merica. It looks okay in shuttle and bot mode (not GREAT mind you)... but the train is just an absolute train wreck. (you was what I did there, right?)

On the plus side, they're all mis-transformed. I think that will eliminate the red triangle on the train side and improve the look a little bit.

Blitzwing looks pretty good, though. I'm okay with him.

EDIT - saw. you saw what I did there. (oops. sorry for teh typo!)

I'm pretty sure we all concluded on it a looooooooooooong time ago. But that still doesnt work as a pairing with Blitzwing in those colours.

It's so odd how Hasbro will listen to fans quite a bit (ie Combiner Wars) and often do things that no one ever asked for. And unlike new upscaled cyberverse figures targetted at kids, these are targetted for us. Only us. So I just dont get it.

Where'd you get the two new names? Any obscure reference? Otherwise, I do think they're solid names for the characters. I'd love to see some fan written bios and fiction in a thread somewhere.

Thanks for the link on Spacewarp! I'm puzzling over other passable names which follow the formula and give nods to both vehicle modes.

No great serious names there, but the idea of starting with Loco is great. Implies a crazy, latino-voiced character. And what other character would you ever get to start with Loco? Hmm.
