I've seen T.rex and Triceratops skeletons mounted in displays together, and the scale relationship between the Dino modes looks about right to me. The toys also seem about right by the cartoon. Unless there's something misleading about the camera angles, I don't have a problem with this.

Well HASBRO e-mailed me after I e-mailed them about Leader Class Lugnut.

Here's what they said:

And p.s. yes I guess Snarl isn't that small. I could live with a deluxe Snarl.

But please vote for a Leader Class Lugnut.

Im all about proportions and I have my lugnut next to activators Starscream. It's the only thing that looks about right with the animated line in proportions.

Proportions is hard in TF Animated though, look at bumblebee and prowl, doesn't make much sense, but I can't let lugnut's proptions go. He's way too small for how big he should be.

I would love a leader class Lugnut [and movie Bonecrusher of course

And while we are on the subject, there needs to be activators for Jazz, and Soundwave. That will help with the proptions of the larger vehicles and the smaller cars. Can't wait for Legends Prowl [animated], but I think asking for a legends OilSlick would be asking too much =(

I'm all for more Legends and Activators. I was thinking they could do it to give us something different... like I think a legends version of Soundwave's initial form would be cool. I'd also like to see them try doing Blitzwing on a smaller scale, like scout or legend class. Of course it'd naturally be a disaster of compromised alt modes, but I think it'd be an intriguing challenge. That often brings out the best in Hasbro's designers.

The trouble with a Leader Lugnut is they only seem to do about 3 leader class toys per year. Leader class toys are the sort of thing most kids only have a shot at getting for birthdays or Christmas, and there's only so many christmases in a year. With the coming glut of ROTF toys, I doubt they'll have a chance to do much for season 3. If Animated is continued after ROTF, there might be some hope, but by then they'll probably have introduced lots of new characters.
