Still, it was awful.

So, what's next for our boy, seeing as how Megatron is now hooked on energon-13 as well? Somehow, I get the feeling someone at IDW recently came out of rehab.

I've only seen the Japanese one-there was an American one? If it has that scene where Wheelie get drunk on energon wine and one of the Autobots sings kareoke, well, I think I'll pass.

I have the miniseries before that and I can confirm there's never been a line like that mentioned...

This has already been answered and there WAS a line that suggest that they may have been some kind of relationship other then leader and follower. What the line was trying to say we dont know cause it was never finished....here are the scan from issue #5 of the DW ongoing book.

Now I'll admit he could have been saying anything from lover to best friend but it could have also led to father, brother, creater or God.We'll never know.......but the original poster wanted to know if there were and plot devices that could have led anyone to think that they were father and son........and as you can see for your self there was.

See, I think this was the time when Megatron was missing, thrown out into space, if I remember correctly, and Megatron had just created the Predacons on another planet (in the Summer Special).

I think this is referring to Megatron being either Starscream's leader, or destroyer (being a crazed god complexed being, Sunstorm, may believe he also knows the future), although it is obvious it that none of us will ever know exactly where that statement was going, but that's what I took it to mean. :-?

What the hell did he mean about an untainted portion of his spark? That's what I want to know; after all, he did download some of Vector Sigma's program, Prowl's hypothesis notwithstanding (he's a cop, not a scientist and I don't recall Perceptor agreeing with him 100%).
I think Megatron was on his way back to Shocky's HQ to clean up house.
He definitely had something to do with it as per his remarks in The Route of all Evil.
You know it was a complicated, evil plot with one obvious flaw that they all missed (or that Screamer exploited, keeping it to himself hoping Megs would be killed off or he could take over, preferrably both) until Prime figured it out for them and then just he pwned them. Again.

Doesn't Predaking beat down Bruticus and as a result, starscream goes home only to have Soundwave blast him?

Well, that's settled.
Back to the original issue: clearly, that particular plot twist intrigued quite a few and it's unfortunate Dreamwave folded since it's obvious that Megatron had some plan for Shockwave's clones. Maybe Shockwave was just taking it to the next level unbeknowest to anyone else.

Its posible.DreamWave had a habit of taking old ideas and putting a new spin on them.......and the idea of an army of cloned troops would seem a lot like Beast Machine's Megatron use of life-less drones.

yeah, thats the japanese 'headmaster'. The western counterpart 'the rebirth' are the only 3 episode that make up season 4!

The 3 episode Season 4 was lame. I totally lost interest with it and didn't get into it again until Beast Wars, which was amzingly well written for a children's show.
