PMOP Trailer/armor for MP-10 Convoy,love to see Takara/Hasbro or a 3rd party TF toy company create this.

The the Seibertron members who own a MP-10 Convoy,I have a question for you. "Can the MP-10 Convoy in truck cab mode fold up into a cube like the 1988 PMOP Truck cab bot did. when it fit into the PMOP Trailer armor for the super robot mode"?

I can only imagine if Takara or a PMOP 3rd party creates Trailer/armor for MP-10 Convoy. Then it's only a matter of time until we see GOD BOMBER Trailer/armor created & added on to the PMOP Trailer/armor to create GOD-Ginrai in both super robot mode & having the vechicle mode pulling two trailers like the Masterforce toy did in 1988.

Thats sounds cool but very expensive.

City commanders trailer/armor,I think was around $70 when it first came out & that was set up for a voyager sized toy. since MP-10 Convoy is a leader sized toy,I'd estimate a PMOP Trailer armor should be around $110,maybe a bit higher.

If Takara did this,it would most likely come with the 9.3 inch optimus prime truck cab/bot & probably sell for around the same price as the current price of Takara's MP-10 Convoy.

You're talking a nearly complete new Supreme sized body shell for a Masterpiece? You'd be looking at at least $200 on the cheap side to upgrade an already $250 bot. It's not going to happen on a manufacturing and production level. There may be a couple of brave and talented (read: crazy) customizers out there who'd be willing to take it on but no company is going to go that far.

It's a good idea. And maybe next year if it gets a TRU release over here I'd give it a go (I have a spare C Supreme Starscream somewhere) but Takara's looking into the Ultra Magnus route and that's all they would be interested in.

What if they went a diffferent route & made the PMOP Trailer similar in fashion to the ultra magnus trailer. basically the PMOP Trailer would be hollow & break up into armor pieces that the robot slips into. like wears boots,forearms,wear a hollow head. gets a new chest plate & waist plate. gets a back piece attachment. gets different weapons. would fans mind this route?

The problems are still size and engineering. Let me put it this way: the City Commander originally retailed at BBTS for $80 while the iGear trailer for MP-01 is $120 and it's just a box. Even something like City Commander upsized to fit MP-09 Rodimus (same size as MP-10) would cost in the $200-$240 range.Size increase changer materials volumetricly so it's not just doubled, it's squared. That's not even factoring in the transformation aspect, just a large suit for it would cost a small fortune. Keep in mind that the 3rd party Megatron silencer & stock set was $55 and the Starscream coronation set was $25 and they were practically nothing on comparison to a Powermaster trailer. I just don't see it being doable.

Again though, I can see it made by fans, it just wouldn't be made in sellable quantities.
