Hmm. Not sure. They look cool and menacing, but they won't integrate as well as the standard blades in the alt modes.

Speaking of Grimlock, those blades are awfully reminiscent of FOC Grimlock's sword...

Instead of the Dazzling glory set, or an independent Shapeways modeler producing this, I wish MMC were releasing chromed versions of the swords he came with. Now THAT would be worthwhile, IMHO.

I've seen the comic, but I'm not so interested in unofficial fiction. I know Sixshot as we know him isn't necessarily a sword wielder, but I'd be happy to see a chrome upgrade of the swords Hexatron came with.

I don't know... as with most bad@ss looking add-on kits, color renders will probably change my mind.

I wouldn't mind regular chromed katanas - all they have to do it put a label on it that says you shouldn't sheath them. But you're right, MMC probably would go through the trouble of a slight remold if they decided to produce them.

One of the things that started warming me up to the butcher blades was the knowledge that G1 Sixshot isn't a katana wielder, anyway
