Ok I now that Hasbro has released Powerglide a lot larger than what we remember. If Hasbro made a Powerglide that was somewhat G1 accurate in a scout size (the size that seems comparable to the G1 minibots IMHO.. I know the Legends are nice but they can be too small for my tastes) would you buy him?

ALSO

What if they made all the minibots in scout class size (not legend), just updated and more articulated BUT still resembling their G1 counterparts.
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

I would get him if he were a better representation of the character. Even if the Ultra one we got was scout-sized, he still isn't all that good a representation of Powerglide IMO.

I've had the same thought for a while now. The scout class would be the perfect to represent the old minibots. It allows for proper articulation while keeping the with spirit of the old figures. Maybe Windcharger will be the beginning of a trend.

No. Although I don't care about scale as much for Classics figures as I do for Movie figures, Scout class is just way too small for a jet. Deluxe Class would be okay, but not Scout class.

True, I didn't even think about that. As long as the ones that have only received a legends class figure eventually get reincarnated into a more articulated size I'll be happy.

Maybe not powerglide, but other characters. Like seaspray or cosmos.
Actually, I would love a big ultra sized cosmos, but I'll take anything at this point.
I am looking forward to windcharger.

I'm fine with Universe Powerglide, thanks. Scale doesn't mean as much to me as the quality of the mold/product.

Same, here. Scale hasn't meant much in Transformers pretty much since the beginning. it doesn't matter much/anything to me.
Not caring about scale since 1984. Just like Hasbro.

I'm fine with Universe Powerglide. And voyager RotF Seaspray too, while we're at it. I'd rather they upsize the rest to deluxe if anything, as opposed to Scout class. Even saying that, though I'd rather see some new characters being given some focus ratehr than revisiting these guys. Like the other Dinobots or the Insecticons.

I'd love something along the lines of the jizai toys version. I'd happily pay for a better representation in a scout/basic or a deluxe sized figure.

Oh, yeah. Deluxe is acceptable, but I think making the Minibots in Scout class is a great idea. Windcharger looks really nice, and we kind of already have Huffer from PCC (although I wouldn't mind another, more G1-ish Huffer). I would love to see Brawn and Wheelie in Scout class. If there is another Classics/Generations style line after DotM, this would be a nice way to get the obligatory Bumblebee on shelves. And a unique sculpt Cliffjumper. And a "More Than Meets the Eye" Cybertronian Bumblebee. =P~

Speaking of an Ultra class Cosmos. That makes sense. I do recall an episode where Blaster actually sat inside Cosmos and maned the helm of the bridge while they went on a reconnasaince mission of an asteroid or something but with that statement aside i'm going to directly contradict that last statement and say this.

Scout class figures are amazing and Seaspray and Powerglide should have been scout class. Scout class designs are so excellent in my opinion that these figs didn't need the class upgrade to ultra or leader because it doesn't improve upon them at all. The same articulation and detail could have been achieved in scout (and probably better) and their Minibot status not grossly exaggerated in larger classes. That is of course if your a G1 purist. Which i am in cases such as this.
The Minibots are best represented in Scout class and would be done very respectfully. It just makes sense.

I'm good with my Walmart Exclusive one and the plane he transforms into is supposed to be big anyway.
I think there are characters more deserving of a new mold.

I'm too much of a scale freak for that! I like my oversized PG but I do prefer the idea of being more G1esque with good articulation.

Thanks for all the replies.

I was looking at my Legends Cosmos, Wheelie, Warpath and Beachcomber last night thinking , "they are in scale with their G1 toys.. but they could be better and closer to actual size in the cartoon as well".

If not scout, what about deluxe for all of them? Or a re-sculpt in voyager class?

I would be all over this. I always thought Powerglide would make a great Predator Drone at the scout class.

i felt the same about the Hasbro version, until I saw the Takara version that my wife's brother got. I was soldwhen I saw the compartment he had opened up to reveal his heart.I thought that was way too kool. so I ended up picking up the Hasbro only because i couldn't afford the Takara one......

I've always thought the minibots are far to small, they do'nt even look like there cartoon characters in robot mode , (still cute tho)
So scout size would be perfect for them now but i always wanted them much bigger.

.Powerglide i'd like to see him as a delux the ultra was that big even a size down would look too big to me. ( still like the ultra class)

.Seaspray i think's fine as a voyager and not the size of a V W Beetle.(hovercrafts can be some size)

.Warpath should be a tall delux he was'nt that tall/big in the cartoon anyway but am gonna get him no matter the size.

.Cosmos is gonna have to have a brand new look i can't picture him being the same green cowboy hat but i hope he's still a spaceship if they do him it seems very possible.
