No, he only dislikes AVP and AVPR.
Well, AVP did turn my love for Alien completely off. It stank.
Well, it cured me of my up to that point life-long fear of the Xenomorph and awakened my interest in the series.
So I don't really hate them.

AVP was just awful....like SERIOUSLY awful...boring characters and boring begining and a plot that didnt make to much sense
AVPR was a poor film that could have been so much better - the starts fantastic but then were given what? 35 minutes of moody teenagers talking about how they dont have any sex? then 5 mins of a predator kicking alien butt in a sewer and then another 15 mins of moody teenagers - and so on and so on

Now that sounds interesting...If I remember right, the original version of Alien showed a "life-cycle" of the xenomorphs without a queen- basically the xenomorph made facehugger eggs out of its victims (it was cut from the final version, but was included in the extended version).
But I have yet to see the movie.

The alien was just attacthing dillan (was it dillan...?) to the wall in its own alien fluid like what was shown in aliens

ok i just watched this film online and really confused...
They find a map to this planet and all go there - Davids a robot and is generally a jerk - well considering what he did to shaw several times...
I just dont get some of things that happen
SPOILER ALERT
At the very start we see an engineer take the black ooz and he died right away and his DNA went into the water...so was that DNA ment to be what we were created from??
why does david take the ooz canister? and then why does he take 1 single drop and give it to shaws boyfriend? i just dont understand what the purpose of that was....i mean if anything how did his body come back to life and he was changed? whats that about? how did he come back to life all super human because the black ooz stuff killed the engineer at the start of the film....so whats the deal here?
Then waylens daughter dies...but the bloodline lives on? why did she have to die exactly? kinda seemed pointless
Shaw seems to be kinda nice to david near the end and he kinda seems nice to her....even tho he killed her boyfriend + wanted to freeze her with an alien creature inside of her and wanted to take the alien stuff back to earth. So why was she kinda nice to him? he clearly isnt stable and not trust worthy
The ooz snakes - what the hell were those ment to be exactly? i really dont understand what they were ment to come from. I saw those maggot type things on the floor yet im ASSUMING it was the ozz that turned them into the snake kinda creatures? or was this david again? as all the canisters had been opened....again why
The alien murial on the wall in the room with the giant face. Im confused on this because didnt WE create the alien? isnt that what its ment to be saying from the ending? yet on the wall theres a murial of a xenomorph without any exlaination and those other engineers were found with burst chests....again no explaination
she flys off in a ship at the end....what ship does she fly off in? the engineers ship is down and so is her escape pod. so which ship does she fly off in?
the last thing i dont get is that this is ANOTHER planet from the 1 in alien. Yet this doesnt explain how an engineers ship is crashed with loads of pods and an alien queen somewere on it...well unless this is gona be explained in the next film

By that stage David had a good idea of what it was. One drop was discreet and if anything, he was probably just testing to see what may happen. I doubt he fully expected the consequences.
As for the rest ... zombie ooze.

None of the early model androids were nice. David was executing orders and following Weyland's death, he had no other orders to follow. But again, I doubt he knew what infecting a human would do, seeing the results and dealing with his own burgeoning humanity, he obviously wanted to make sure the ooze never made it to Earth.

Once the door was opened it was exposed to a different atmosphere which caused the canisters to open. The worms may have been laying dormant and when exposed to oxygen came back to life (this isn't uncommon) and then when exposed to the ooze, mutated.
(Think Bay may have had something to do with this and it's all a set up to the next Turtle's movie?)

Only thing I can think of is it was a mural depicting what the ooze is capable of.
The engineers if you recall, were trying to escape something. Obviously things went bad and there was an outbreak.
Essentially though, we did create the alien as this can lead in to the events of the first Alien movie. Remember, as others have stated, Xenos are defined by the species that are impregnated, what we see here is the beginning of the Xeno/Human species.

ummmm one of the others. That was pretty obvious. I'm sure there was another mound you can see just as they're landing the Prometheus. Plus David even says there's other ships.

Because you're looking at it as a direct prequel to Alien. When it's not. IF they do a sequel to Prometheus I would imagine that THAT movie would be the prequel to Alien and Prometheus the prequel to that movie.
So it could potentially be a Grand-Prequel to Alien.

the engineer takes the black ooz and drinks it..now im ASSUMING hes on earth. they created water and plants and rocks etc etc and then he swallows a bio-chemical that kills him and his cells go into the water
its this bit that confuses me because the engineers are on this other planet as a testing ground for a bio-weapon which ends up creating those snake thingies that kill them. SO hows this 1 guy got 1 of those ozz things on earth? and why would he drink the damn stuff knowing what happened?
They said he was heading to earth in the ship to kill everything with the chemical onboard...why? i mean 1 guy was there before them and he drank the damn stuff and went into the water...
or am i ment to assume he did this to try and kill off what they had made but it didnt quite work that way? and even if that is the case why the hell did he drink the bloody stuff and kill himself? was he to stupid to put it into the water? why kill himself?
Also how has he got that thing and hes on earth when the others are ment to be TESTING it on this other planet?

Could be a different substance, or it could be engineered to interact with the engineers DNA to produce life.
It's when it mixes with other DNA that things go weird.
As others have said, it leaves a lot of questions but certainly sparks a good debate!

i dunno i guess i just feel ripped off by this movie. I was looking for at least 50% of the answers but instead got hardly any
while i loved the whole atmosphere and how it felt like it was in the same line as Alien i just feel cheapend by how most of the events took place
i kinda feel the same way about this film that i did when i completed Halo2 for the first time - were the hells the rest of the game? wha? i gotta wait till another one comes out? hmmmm pretty low
i feel roughly the same way and i HOPE i dont feel the same way i did when halo 3 was done with - lame ass snuff ending

Where exactly can you pay to watch a movie online that was just released a few days prior in the theaters? Never heard of such a web site. And yes, we do have web sites where you can steam movies, there not movies that have just been released. Curious where you downloaded this legally.

I'm guessing he got swindled (Irony!) into paying for a pirated movie, and he's trying to use that to justify pirating it. Because as far as I know, no service exists like that.

If someone can come up with a legitimate pay service that shows movies that are still in the theaters please LMK ASAP as I would like to get this matter resolved. Yes as it was answered, we have netflix and redbox in the states HOWEVER those are movies that are new to DVD release, not theatrical.

Piracy laws aren't restricted by country. Case in point, Megaupload.

Which was German, and we have the same Piracy laws as the US. Plus all sites that use a .com thing fall under US law regardless which country they are based in.

No, does not exist, only for movies that are too bad to see a widespread theatrical release, have already been released on DVD or direct to DVD stuff, and then of course there are movies that are made for VOD, but those are almost dead.

The company was based on Hong Kong, and though it's founder was German, he lived in New Zealand. And yeah, they both helped when asked by the US Department of Justice.
