Oh, I FINALLY saw another Bludgeon in a store. I haven't seen him since the one I saw 4 months ago (and bought).

NICE. Classics Hot Rod would run you that much alone on eBay.

Anyone got an Antagony? She's the last one I need.
What was the damage for Vice Grip? Antagony is rough. I've been hunting her for a while - she's one of the last (possibly) Unicronian characters I need. It's tough to find her less than $300-$400 these days. I remember even just a few years ago she was $70-$100. What the hell happened?

The movie led to a speculator market that has driven the price up on a ton of stuff, some past the point of their actual value.

Actually the Botcon Beasties' prices weren't affected too much from the movie resurgence. I suspect it's spurred more from a few collectors realising they need that one or two more figs to complete their BW collections.
And I paid 135 CDN for Vice Grip. Painful for sure, but I haven't seen it go for less in the last year that I've been watching for him.

G1 Crosshairs and Snaptrap, $16 shipped from eBay. No Targetmaster or combiner parts, respectively, but in good shape. Might get Reprolabeled.
And from a collector, Smallest TF Optimus Prime and the Kabaya G1 and Classics Prime kits. They're so cool! Some paint apps will really complete them. And the gum they come with is pretty tasty too.

I'm 100% with you on this one. It'll be interesting to see what happens to the value of Botcon toys once the movie craze is over and done with. Not that these guys will be worthless, but I think we'll see less flipping on certain items.

Well, I was fiddling around with Skyburst's robot mode between that and the combiner form (Before I bothered to read the instructions) and came to this odd in-between stage. I thought "He looks like a douche in this form". Thus, "Douche-mode" was born! Honestly, it strikes me as a bit of a Punch/Counterpunch sort of thing if someone was feeling creative.

The wave 2 commanders are better than the wave 1 commanders. Leadfoot is the best by far in all 3 modes while Sledge and Icepick are good stand alone bots.

Douche mode is creative, but I'm loling more at ROFLCOPTR than anything else.

It's already happening. I just watched several Botcon Kup & Sharkticon auctions end for under $50 US, which is the lowest I've ever seen them. Maybe I'll be able to get those figures after all.
