Grabbed a loose, but complete G1 Sunstreaker off eBay for £28, delivered.

Came with all 3 missiles, both fists, both shoulder rockets, tech specs and instructions. He was the last one missing from my 1984 shelf, so I am very pleased with him!

Last week I picked up Battle Ops Gold Bumblebee from Marshalls. I thought DOTM Leader BB was as close as you can get in scale to display with the Arcee trio. I was wrong! Battle Ops Bee is the perfect scale for the trio. Even though I think DOTM Leader BB is the best & is close to screen accuracy, B Ops BB has a lot to offer. I'm sure by now everyone knows the arm cannon is a drawback so I won't get into that but love the lights, sounds, paint, chrome rims, rubber tires, 2 extra figs you get with him & the G1 theme after you press down on the hood above the driver side wheel in Vmode. The G1 theme had me sold! I'm dropping Battle Blades BB to 3rd and making Battle Ops Gold BB a close 2nd as my best movieverse BB. I almost feel guilty for passing him up when he was released! Well worth the find.

Finally fond ROTF DLX Chromia (the last of my Arcee trio) at TRU. Now I can display the ladies with Battle Ops Gold BB.

Got my BBTS loot in the mail the other day along with Cannon Force Ironhide from a local collector.

-Cannon Force Ironhide - he looks pretty cool. Obviously the arm articulation is lacking but compared to older figures it's still decent. Somewhat tricky transformation, and the truck bed looks terrible in vehicle mode, but overall, a pretty cool figure. Definitely worth the $20 I got him for on sale.

-Fansproject Thundershred - Super beefy, love the claws and the sheer variety of weapon configurations. Pretty satisfying transformation. The bug mode isn't the most convincing, but it looks cybertronian enough, which is cool. I noticed his chest rattles a bit, does it do anything? Probably not or they would've mentioned it in the instructions.

-Fansproject Stormbomb - Another cool guy, not sure if I like him more or less than Thundershred. The chain thing is a little weird. I like the bug mode for this guy, it's actually pretty big. And bug-like, but not too creepy.

-Fansproject Backfiery - My favorite of the bunch, in robot mode at least. In bug mode.. maybe a little too real. Haha, bugs creep me out. I guess maybe he could do with some bigger weapons, but otherwise he's completely badass.

I really appreciate how they designed these figures, each with different builds, and differing color schemes to accentuate that. Ingenious transformations and great detail as usual. Covered up those insignias with Decepticon symbols right away though. Interesting to note that the plastic feels different from the usual Fansproject fare. Different, but still quality. Some of the joints are TIGHT. But super happy with the purchases, and they were a good price too.

-Movie 2007 Real Gear Wire Tap V20 - Haven't opened him yet, but he's to be part of my classics 'Reflector' team, since I can't afford the Perfect Effect versions. My rationale is that they now transform into seperate electronics so they can more thouroughly survey the enemy. If I ever get the PE ones, these will go to the movie shelf.

Also got IDW's ongoing prade paperback volume 3. I like where it's going, getting a little bit more exciting, and I was glad to finally see some art I enjoy again.

DotM commander Ironhide. I'd ummed and ahhed about him for a while and in the end I'm not as impressed with this figure as much as the likes of Blackout or Hatchet. I will be trimming the pegs on the weapons for a tighter fit against the arms.

edit-Also grabbed a Matrix variant Kreon Optimus with Doctor Who Adventures magazine. Nice.

Picked up Human Alliance Bumble Bee (With white t-shirt Sam) at Marshalls. Did the leg modification on him too and he looks great! Weird, never planned on getting this many Human Alliance figures, but now I just need Sideswipe (no interest) and Mudflap (who I have never seen in person.)

That dinky little soft plastic sword xP It's nice to have but jeez does it curve easily O__o

I don't know where to look in particular for it, other than ebay (none listed at the moment though ), hopefully someone else will.

There's actually someone on TFW (I think) who makes a Repro sword out of stiffer plastic...I can't remember the name but you could try looking into that if you want a nicer sword. The stock one is pretty rubbery, a lot like ROTF Bludgeon's.
