So my Birthday is this week so I'm opening one me to me present everyday. First was TF Platinum Ed G1 Predaking. I've never had any G1 predacons. I was surprised by how big these guys are. No wonder they're so expensive. They are great! Solidly built. Cool addition to my collection.

...then comes the 3rd party stickers...following is the improvements & corrections...next is customization,

...another set is purchased to keep in the package...a 3rd set in the classic gift set box, then individual packaging of team members,



...than the Takara counterparts are acquired,



...next your purchasing the 2 separate, 3rd party "homages" sets,



...you start making your own 3rd party stuff, volunteer at Hasbro or start your own toy company,

...before you know it, you're in deep with the plastic mob, & when you cannot make payments, you end up taking a long walk, off a short planet eater, in to a plasma bath with diecast shoes around your ankles...

..& when you emerge, your voice is very nasally and you need to take a trip to webworld...

Seriously, though, YOU'RE GONNA LOVE THIS SET! Getting a classic combiner team like the predacons, for the first time, is great experience. My first team was actually the combaticons reissue, followed by the constructicons, & so fourth. Haven't been as crazy as to literally buy every plastic version of the same thing, but I have bought too many 3rd party, reissue, & original for just the stuff I want. I've also done my fair share of pre-orders.

Don't ever let anyone tell you your wasting your money or anything, you spend, responsibly, on the passions that bring you joy

& laugh about everything while your at it

Yesterday I got to open Platinum Edition Omega Supreme. Awesome figure though simpler than I imagined. Today is my birthday so I will be opening the reissue Sixshot today. Considering waiting til Christmas to open Metroplex.

Today I got to open Sixshot. Very nice though some modes don't work for me.

First it was Metroplex and now it's Predaking for $50. Feeling pretty stupid about the money I spent on each.

Opened Metroplex today. Really regretting paying full price for him. There is a lot about this figure I don't like. The right arm falling off, the loose helmet, the ramp that won't fit back into his chest properly and most of all loose knee and hip joints. Yes I am underwhelmed

We've all had birthday experiences like that. Can you exchange him? In England we have a law that states "if the customer doesn't feel they've got value for money it's the seller's responsibility to provide a full refund".

I'm gonna keep him. I just wish I'd got for $50. (I have to buy my own birthday presents but I get to use my mom's card)
