As part of Takara Tomy's presentation at the Tokyo Toy Show, they brought out a 1.3 meter (4 foot) tall automated transforming Transformers Adventure Bumblebee robot. While it isn't specified in the article regarding this project, we are assuming this is controlled remotely (as opposed to pre-programmed). You will find a video below, from EngadgetJP, of this part of the presentation.
To avoid confusion, this is not an upcoming product by Takara, it is simply a project by two robotics companies in Japan and it was used as part of Takara's presentation.

They trot out stuff like this 'real' transforming car every couple of years. They're never very impressive.

At least it transforms better than Robosaurus. I do not care what its owner says, that monster of a machine is not a Transformer. I mean even RiD Grimlock can make a more convincing vehicle mode than Robosaurus'.

I was referring to his attempt to make a third vehicular mode as in the episode "Collect 'Em All"
Even this is more convincing than Robosaurus' tractor trailer mode. I mean, the truck that pulls the Robosaurus trailer is not even part of the robot for Primus' sake. I also do not get how legally they can call it a Transformer and why Hasbro/Takara has ignored it for so many years. I know they technically only hold the rights for toys, comics and movies titled Transformers, so since Robosaurus is none of those it can be called a Transformer? And before some one points it out, I am aware of the electrical part known as a transformer, but the owners of Robosaurus are clearly not referring to that kind.
