Would you watch a series that came out that that did not have an Optimus Prime or Megatron in it? I would have new leaders and characters.

Yeah, I'd enjoy a new series without Prime and Megatron. I respect the original Prime, but I'm not really a Prime fan, and Prime and Megatron being leader EVERY TIME gets a little old after a while. Hence, Star Saber is probably my favorite commander.

The Beast Wars comics were all the better for it.

Actually enjoyed Season 3 with Rodimus Prime and Galvatron and the far superior UK comics' future stories with Rodimus and Soundwave.

Energon would have been great with 3 things:

Rodimus as leader

Scorponok as Terrorcon Leader

I'd definately love to see Shockwave in command again! I don't know if I'd like to see Ultra Magnus or Rodimus as Autobot leader though. It was interesting when the Marvel comics had Grimlock in charge but it might be nice to see Prowl or Blaster given a leader role that they may not feel comfortable with.

id like to see a series where its prowl and shockwave in charge, with jazz and soundwave as the SiC of their respective factions, no unicron to make an appearance.

Well, the War Within the Dark Ages was kinda like that. But, and entire tv show would be better.

I would like a series about Rodimus, G1 after the ep before the Return of Prime, VS Starscream, let Starscream have his moment of incompetance and give Rodimus a chance as he just got used to the blasted job. :/

The fanfic I'm working on has well-known and self-created characters in it, but the leader is a Prime but a new one and the leader of the bad guys is a well-known TF but not a Megatron or Galvatron.

I wouldn't mind it. Thats why I kinda enjoyed Masterforce and Victory, since they were a real break from the norm.

Every time I see a Nissan Primera, I think Primera would make a good name for the first female Prime.

How about female leaders?

Always thought Airrazor would have made an interesting Maximal leader as she seemed a stronger female character than the likes of boring old Arcee or Black Arachnia.

For the sake of humour ala Harmony's gang in Buffy, make that female Decepticon from Cybertron the leader. The boat whose name I can't remember. She was TF's answer to Batman's Harley Quinn. Thunderblast was it?

I'd love to see a fresh look on the series with different named leaders. In fact, I think I would have taken Energon, Cybertron and RID more seriously if they had changed the character's names. I hated teh series because to me, they were using the power of popularity to push their product rather than allowing the product to stand on its own.

As long as its good I don't care if there aren't any old characters in it.

That kind of character male or female is just stupid and annoying.
I never though Harmony was all that funny in Buffy or Angel,
just annoying. Why Buffy, Cordeila, or Angel, never killed her I'll never know.
Spike at least did try to kill her once.

The reason they never killed her was because they all knew that she would never be able to do anything right even with the heightened strengths from becoming a vampire.

But, I still think Angel should have offed her in that last episode after he told her that he knew that she was the "spy".

It took Star Trek 30 years just to get to a female captain, and Trekkies were far more receptive to the change. Still, I'd love seeing a she-bot who can handle anyone who's bad@$$ enough to rise that high in the Decepticons ranks.

i think that SOME series need a prime and megatron, but i loved masterforce and victory and they had neither!

Could be fun, female characters that aren't ditzy girl types are always a good thing in my book. Although technically we have seen a female leader with Overide, afteral, she was in charge of a whole planet.
