Oh, go away you troll. In case you missed it, I was AGREEING with you that Action Masters shouldn't be compared with Revoltechs. I can only presume you just want to argue with everyone.

I know that you agree that AMs and Revlotechs shouldn't be compared so go on and complain about Prime and his boobs. If only the Nsider forums were up again at least there no one complained about toys with boobs they actually talked about what the thread said what a miracle

Please, carry on trolling. I'm simply not interested in wasting time arguing with you.
To why there isn't an AM gallery: lack of interest would be my guest.

Action Masters actually drove me away from Transformers when they were introduced. I loved the G1 transformers that could...you know...Transform. But then AM came out when I was 12, and that's all Wal-Mart, Kay-Bee, and the like ever had in stock so I never got any. Lost interest by the time G2 came out and then stayed away until the 2007 movie reminded me how frackin cool the series is.
so the AM backlash, to me, is...uhm...anti-nostalgia?

Action Masters were alright, nothing special and honestly could have been done better if today's toy tech had been around then, but they were fun enough for kids when they were released.
If AM's were remade and done correctly this time round, it would be nice to have all those AM's that were made remade with all new articulation, imagine AM Prowl with modern toy tech articulation.
And added in with reissues or an extra toy with standard toys on the shelves.
Some imagination, effort and thought could improve the AM's considerably.
Tony.

I liked some of the Action Masters. The introduction of so many new characters wasn't maybe a good idea, what with there being little to give them much promotion. I had Prowl (really cool toy) and Starscream, and a few of the non-entities.
I'd like some of those characters to be revisited in modern lines though. There were a few that had very obvious alt-mode details and looked pretty cool.
Regards the toys themselves, they were ok, apart from the lack of arm movement. Swivel shoulders alone seemed a bit poor when they had GI Joe style legs.

...So are you just going to throw a hissy fit at everyone that has a different opinion than yours? And can you PLEASE stop attatching images to your posts?
Anyway, I am more fond of Transformers that do what their title implies, however that is not to say I don't like AM's. I like them, I have Robot Heroes, Titaniums, etc, etc. They were alright, but nothing to spend loads of dough on.

Action Masters drove me away as well.I didnt dislike them all together, it was the fact that they were the only TF line besides the micrmasters coming out that year that buged me.They were the main line.If they had just released them along side other TF's then it wouldnt have been so bad.Look at how popular the Robot Heroes are......there not the main line but people still like them.

I wouldn't mind seeing some action master presence in reviews or a gallery of them. Personally, I don't hate 'em either ... to me they fall under non-transforming things I don't want like Mega PCV, PCV, Titaniums, Robot Heroes, Revlotech, movie Robot Replicas .... you name it, we've had alot of it.
That said, I like my Transformers to "Transform". Yeah, I like that gimmick. But I don't hate Action Masters.
I think alot of the resentment comes from the fact that it was the last in a long line of gimmicky bad ideas that moved the franchise away from the concepts that made kids / collectors love it. After gimmicks like Targetmasters, headmasters, and Micromasters, I think non-transforming Transformers were the "enough is enough" breaking point of the franchise.
Of course I was out by Pretenders. I didn't like the shells or the obscure non-show characetrs I was getting.

I like Actionmasters I think they're neat little semi-toon accurate figures. Actionmasters, revoltech, takara history pcv figure collection are the only nontransforming figures I tolerate.
Robot Masters on the other hand...
Ryan, I hope I get a vomit emote when you take the forums to phpbb3!

Because they suck monkey balls big time. There is nothing redeming about prowl riding a motorcycle that turns into a weapon I'm sorry a transformer that turns into a vehicle doesn't need to ride one.

Actually, there are some pretty cool Actionmasters. Really, they are the direct predecessors of Takara's popular SCF lines and most of them had way more anime accurate bot modes than any other TFs made before them.
There were also some pretty fun ideas released in the line Megatron and his battle platform come to mind.
AMs were definately not very playable. However, as display pieces, they definately were pretty cool compared to anything preceeding them.
