Hi,

A shop near me has a carded KO of Nike Megatron and what looks like a white Nike Prime (Magnus?). Are they worth buying? Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

Haven't seen any KOs of the shoeformers, but I did pick up an official Prime on the weekend. Honestly, I think you'd be better off getting an official one. There are some horribly thin bits on Prime's head that I can easily see shattering on a KO. Assuming that is that the KOs are typical KO quality.

Anyway, the official shoeformers aren't really all that expensive, at least where I am. I got Prime for the cost of a deluxe.

there arelots of versions of KO shoeformers on the market. i'm not sure about the quality of the more expensive "boxed" ones which are the same size as the originals, but i'd caution you about picking up the carded "upsized" ones.

i got a prime and megatron, and man, these were the worst KOs I ever picked up. Megatron even had two left feet! The joints are so loose that these won't stand on their own in bot mode, plus some parts that should have been multi-jointed were cast in one piece!

these KOs are now in shoe form on my desk.
