Just received my masterpiece skywarp today.
Would go on to rant about how awesome he is but review threads have allready expressed that better than i can.
My problem, to cut to the chase is that he is missing a thumb.
Hitch-hiking has became much more difficult
I bought it off ebay. It was a seal package and i had to transform it to notice the problem. Should I email the seller and would they be able to actually do anything about it. Its a tiny tiny piece but it does spoil my enjoyment of the otherwise excelent figure
What can i do about it - any advice would be much appreciated

**** outta luck.
and...unfortunately, that would seem to be the situation.
I advise you to try and contact TomyTakara. The eBay seller can't really do anything for you.

That really does suck. I thought it was bad enough that the right leg on mine won't fully extend to lock the knee into place.
Unless your ebay seller is selling these things in bulk, CP's right, you won't get much outta him. Tomy Takara could help, I suppose, but if you're desperate in the long run, you could try replacing the thumb with one from the Wal-Mart Starscream.
Little paint, and you're good. At least its not missing something major like the null ray the photos at fantofan showed.

thanks for the suggestion tho but i dont think id ever think of cannibilising one masterpice figure to complete another.
it would be like ripping the arms off michealangelos david to complete the venus de milo

That really blows, its not a hugely important piece, but it'sa something that you will notice everytime he is in bot-mode.
Takara-Tomy are your only option, as the missing thumb is surely a QC issue. Not sure how they go with returns or anything... perhaps they might send you out just a thumb...

Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.
