This guy needed some serious work. Way too bland. But now… fixed! I’m VERY happy with this figure now.

Here’s the list of things I did:

Metallic silver paint on all guns
Slid off his handguards and tucked them in the opening on his back
Dark metallic grey accents on bot and vehicle (including beard)
Black/Khaki Drab camo pattern
Army green on wheel rims
Red/copper tail lights
Fully sprayed with matte clear coat
Reprolabels Autobot logos on bot mode and vehicle

Beautiful work! Did you use flat black on the tires? They look great.

I like how you hid the hand panels in the hollow of his back. I too removed them, but I keep them jammed in behind his shoulders. Out of the way, but not screen accurate. I like your idea, but I use the wheels on his back to clamp his big rifle in place vertically for storage. What to do...?

Thanks! The tires are actually just the plain black plastic with the Testors Dullcoat sprayed on them. I usually do a flat black on the tires, but in this instance, I didn't have to because I just matte coated the whole thing.

Great work! That camo scheme really suits him, and the painted weapons really add to him. Congrats on an excellent job that really does improve a bland toy.

Looks great, and the hand mod really improves the look of the robot mode.
