Re: Alternator Molds
In terms of steering, for the Binaltechs, all the american cars should have left-hand steering and the Japanese have right-hand.
All the alts should have left-hand. Gonna assume the right-hand streaks only showed up in an early batch. Would there be any right-hand drive alt smokescreens? Were the sub's the only japanese cars in the blue packaging?
Now that's got me thinking about box varients. Did any alt have a blue and red box version? I'd say prowl if any, but something makes me think no. And did every alt get re-released in the bubble package? The mustangs never did, did they? Quite a few were Europe/Asia only releases though.

The right-hand Silverstreaks were at the very beginning when the figure was released. This is the only Alt. figure that has right-hand steering. Smokescreen had left-hand steering only. My BT Smokescreen has left-hand steering because the Subaru rally cars have left-hand steering and he is a direct representation of the actual car.

The Reprolabels are on my BT and Alt versions of Jazz/Meister along with California license plates that say Jazz.

I take it you like them? Was the set fairly easy to apply?

I do like them and they are easy to apply on the figure. Use the image as a guide since there are no sticker maps.

Re: Alternator Molds
I repro'd my Alt. Jazz about a month ago too, and it's the only Alt/BT I feel I need to have it done. The sticker art was very royal to the G1 look and really made him look like "Jazz". Yes the stickers are very easy to apply, but you'll need some fine handling tools and very steady hands. I did mine very carefully to make sure alignment, gaping & symmetry are all considered, so I am kind of proud of the result it came out. My repro'd Jazz is still stored away in storage boxes, I will find time to dig it out and take some nice photos to share with you all.

I know that this is not close up but that is my BT Jazz with the stickers.

The following have stickers:
Hound
BT Prowl, the stickers covered up the Japanese writing.

Well, You convinced me

BTW, did you just apply the stickers to your Hound Alt/BT or did you also do the G1ish mod(remove roof and doors)?

Alt/BT Hound does not have a roof. As for mine, I just applied the stickers. I have been hard at work and taking my BT Prowl and converting it to Red Alert and converting my Red Alert into Prowl.

I have no good excuse...but the good news is it's less than a week since I started this thread and I'm only 3 shy of my goal of having 1 of each mold. Well, 4 to be honest, but if the RX-8s and Subarus have the same transformations I can be content with having only 1 of the bunch...
Should be an exciting upcoming week, though the mail carrier may not care for me too much.

If you picked them right now, which ones would you like to have?

Here are pics of my repro'd Alternators Jazz. I was too lazy to transform him into bot mode, so only alt mode pictures this time. Enjoy!
