Animated blurr may be as close to a g1 blurr as we will get
It is really hard to write a descent subject. So I will write it here does anyone think animated blurr is as close as we will get to a proper universe blurr. I was looking at my animated blurr today and noticed despite the head he could pass for a modern update of g1 blurr of course he would need a weapon of some sort and not talking about one of those with a giant missile maybe his target master partner.

Serpentor "I am the one born to rule and destined to conquer. Let those who fear me, follow me. Let those who oppose me, die."

I dunno. His lines just don't fit the more "typical" styles at all - and by that I mean lines like Classics, Cybertron, Energon, and so forth. On top of that, while there is some slight variation in height in the 'typical' lines across a given size class, Blurr would just stand out far too much among the Universe Classics and such.

Yea, while it is nice to see the homage to G1 Blurr, his lines are just off when compared to the classics, and he looks too much like a baby gazelle with those legs. He just looks awkward next to the classics. I sure am glad that I got one with tight leg joints, cause I have a feeling that this one could be bad if it got loose. Damn good figure though.

But he really doesn't (look out of place).
I'll try and snap a pic later tonight.

Blurr didn't really "fit in" with his G1 counterparts in the movie either. His Cybertron mode was very differnt from the Earth vehicles. He is a bit too tall for the Universe line, but I will probably keep him in car mode anyway.
He looks great on the shelf next to Hot Rod, faced off against Cyclonus and Galvatron.

I think he could be the answer to universe blurr as I said before there are only two things I would change one remove the energon saw from the shield and give him his target master partner as his weapon. I can't wait to see counterpunch's pictures.

Guys like Blurr or Wreck-Gar are the kind of TFs that you don't see remade very often. Of course there was a Cybertron Blurr, but I'd say this was definately more G1-inspired. There's always a chance that there's gonna be a more "standard" stled Blurr figure, but I kinda doubt it. When this comes out in my area I'll be getting as it my G1-Blurr.
The differences in style never really bothered me too much ... but then again, I didn't buy Sentinel Prime or Bumblebee.

I'de say the cybertron blurr is closer Animated looks sweet but really dosen't have the true "Blurr" look.

Ok, he's a bit bigger than I had remembered, however I think that the real issue is that Rodimus is actually kind of small.
G1 Blurr towers over most 84-85 figures.

How so? Animated is pretty tall and thin, but his colors and overall design are a pretty good match for G1 Blurr.

I'm hoping that Blurr and Arcee being featured in the Animated show and toy line will lead to increased interest in these characters, thus increasing the odds they will receive the Universe/Classics G1-style treatment.
