I was disappointed with TI Soundwave. When the designer tried to make his legs into speakers, he hosed up the whole mold.
It wouldn't be so bad if he were able to stay as he appears in the packaging, but as so as you take him out, the legs will not stay put and the torso drops down at the hips.
As a result, he looks like he should be called "Schlong-wave" b/c he's he's hung like a cyber-donkey. Another nickname that I've heard is "Diaperwave". Take your pick.
If you can get past that, then it's a great fig. I preferred it to the G1 reissue but the "full diaper" look annoyed me to the point of selling it on ebay and buying the Music Label figure to display with my classics.

cool character and a nice mold, but the Ti form SUCKS!! in almost every other category
make sure you don't throw out the package so you can put him back in it, unless you want to display him in tape player mode, because like the guys above me mentioned, his legs easily collapse
i'm not a big fan of these Ti figures as far transforming and displaying them, it's difficult to do good poses because of the awkward weight proportions and handling the figures often times feels like scratching nails across a chalkboard, plus a lot of the ball and socket joints tend to pop off easily
however, i do have the war within optimus and megatron 2 pack and a rodimus prime in addition to the soundwave, i don't plan on getting anymore Ti figures, that is unless i find a grimlock or any other dinobot one
